**A/N- This was an entry into the Poem Forest at Red Room Poetry, and has been published on their website!!**
The Autumn leaves dance in the dieing breeze,
Her spirit receding like the vast ocean waves.
A tsunami arises, her fiery rage conquers all.
She washes the slate clean, ready to start again.
The Autumn leave follows the mindless stream.
Watch how it behaves, losing it's path every now and then.
Just like a cyclone, its twisted fury; an unhinged savage
Scares the slate clean, ready to start again.
An Autumn leaf cries out for help, but the others lost amongst the world.
It's cries left unanswered as the brutal winter comes.
Cries for help buried six-feet-under with snow
ready to melt the slate clean, ready to start again.
At what cost?
