~Ivey~

I was awoken to the sounds of Mötley Crüe's
Kickstart My Heart ringing through my ears.
I rolled over letting out a groan before reaching over to crank the volume up.

I got out of bed and went to my closet. I grabbed some basic straight blue jeans, a black tight fitting crop top, and my brown leather jacket.

I threw my clothes on and scurried downstairs to the kitchen in my sock covered feet.

When I reached the kitchen I saw my mom pouring what is probably already her 3rd cup of coffee.

"She's risen!" Mom exclaimed pouring me a cup

"Shut up" I replied playfully, grabbing the mug from her

Rory was sitting at the table packing up her school notes.

"Hey, Ror" I greeted sitting down at the table

"Hey, Ivey. Oh! Do you have the English notes, I think I left mine at school" she says

"Ummm, yeah I think so. They're upstairs in my bag" I informed her

"You're a saint, a saint I tell you" she smiled running off to get them

~3rd person~

"So who's going to tell her it's Saturday?"Lorelai laughed watching her brunette daughter run up the stairs before turning to her blonde daughter.

"She'll figure it out" Ivey shrugged taking a sip of her warm black coffee

"Let's go to Luke's!" Ivey suggested enthusiastically

"You little mind reader" Lorelai smiled

"Ivey, why didn't you tell me it was Saturday?" Rory yelled running back downstairs causing her mother and sister to laugh

"Jerks" Rory mumbled as she approached them at the front door. They then exited their house to set off to Luke's.

______

The three Gilmore girls walked into Luke's taking a seat at their table.

Lorelai stood at the counter waiting to order as Luke talked on the phone.

Rory looked over to her sister with concern and Ivey shrugged before getting up and joining her mother's side.

"What do you want to bet this is about" Lorelai whispered

"I don't know, but he's not very happy" Ivey whispered back

"Is he ever?" The girls mother asked smirking and Ivey smiled back

"Do any of you have a sister" Luke asked

Rory, Kirk, and Ivey's hands shot up

"My sympathies. Except to you, Rory. You're sister is an angel" Luke said

"Good morning, grumpy" Ivey said in a sing-song voice hugging the man

"Maybe for you, Sunshine" he said reciprocating her hug

"Are you okay" the girl asked looking up at him with concern

"Hey, don't worry. I'm okay." He told her kissing her on the forehead before handing her the coffee pot to take to their table

Luke has practically raised Ivey, and he's definitely more like her father than Christopher.
Rory has always been Christopher's pick because she lets him get away with his absence. Ivey however, calls him out on it and isn't hesitant to voice her feelings.

Without Luke, she doesn't know who she'd be.

Ivey sat back down with her sister and they started up a conversation about their latest reads.
