~Jess~

I was in shock when Ivey invited me over, her mom isn't too fond of me. Honestly I'm not too fond of Lorelai Gilmore either, but Ivey.

Ivey.

She won't get out of my head. Fuck she's perfect

Wait what? I've only know her for like 3 weeks. This is so unusual for me, I'm not really the relationship kind of guy. Ivey's driving me crazy here. I hate labels, but I would gladly call her my girlfriend.

We're in her room reading right now, well she is. I have my book open, but I'm staring at her. She concentrates so hard when she reads, it consumes her.

She doesn't really look like Lorelai or Rory, aside from those blue eyes of hers. Must have been a pretty strong gene. All three of them have these insane electric blue eyes. Hers are the prettiest though. They're darker on the outside, almost grey, and bright blue towards the middle. I've never seen their dad, but I assume that's where some of her looks come from.

"Yes" she asks not looking up from her book

"I didn't say anything?" I responded

"Can feel you staring" she explained

"You're so gorgeous, Angel" I tell her

"Jess." She said sternly

"What? I'm serious!" I defended

"You can't say things like that to me. We're friends." She says closing her book

Ouch. Friends, friends, friends rang in my head on a continuous loop.

"Oh come on, Ivey. You know we aren't friends." I tease

"Jess, you know how extremely fond I am of your foolish ass, but you know it's too soon to think we're anything more than friends. Plus my mom would flip, I need you two to warm up to each other." She said

Damn it she's right.

"Yeah, okay. I'll try to get along with her" I say

"Really? Thank you, you're the best!" She exclaimed kissing my cheek

"Come here" I said pulling her closer and pushing her head on my chest

"Awww, Jess Mariano likes cuddles?" She teased

"Don't ruin it" I say shushing her

Lorelai and Rory just got in from Hartford.

"Ivey, we're home" Lorelai yelled from downstairs

When she didn't get a response she walked upstairs to her daughters bedroom and knocked on the door.

"Ivey?" Lorelai questioned

When she was again left with no response she opened the door, and boy was she mad about what she found.

Jess and Ivey had fallen asleep cuddled up to each other. Whoops.

"Wake up!" Lorelai yelled throwing a pillow at them
