Warbird: Izuku

The Battle Ahead...

Izuku dropped down onto Saturn, breathing out hard and sweating though his sweat floated. He forgot that he was in space despite coming and going from earth to whatever planet Rogue told him to meet her at.

Rogue: Come on kid, you haven't made so much as a good steppin stone yet. Let's try it again.

Izuku: R... R-Right!

He stood up and breathing as his eyes started to glow. He gritted his teeth and looked at Rogue who crossed her arms and nodded with a smile.

His power flared with ferocity as the colors of said power started to change. He closed his eyes with the colors morphing from purple, red, blue, pink, to black, yellow, white, and gray.

Izuku: TCHGRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Suddenly, out of nowhere, his own power backfire on him, blasting him backwards into a boulder. He smacked into it and fell to the floor before punching it...

Izuku: DAMMIT!!!!

Rogue: Well, at least you were close. No use fussin over it.

Izuku: Sigh, yea, you're right.

Rogue: Go ahead and take a break. You've been doing this for three days straight. Maybe it's time that you relax.

The blonde greenette nodded and sat on the planet, looking at the Sun. It was huge and in all honesty, he should be terrified but he wasn't. He actually felt great being there in space.

It felt so natural, he smiled as Rogue came to sit by him, making the boy have a slight blush on his face.

Rogue: Beautiful ain't it? I hated your mom, but after getting her powers, I realized how nice it is being up here. It's peaceful, no villains, no people to look at you weird, just quiet peace.

Izuku looked at her and he wanted to ask but he didn't want to make her feel like he's being pushy. He scratched his head but then he heard her giggle.

Rogue: It's alright, you can ask me.

Izuku: ... Right, she can read minds.

Rogue: Yes I can.

Izuku: I just... wanted to know... why do you really hate my mom? What did she do to you?

Rogue: Well... memba when I told you about a woman named Mystique?

Izuku nodded...

Rogue: Well, way back when, I found out that she's been the one taking care of me my whole life and wanted to keep me away from a bunch a' fellas that call themselves "The X-Men", that's the team that X-23 was on, along with her dad, Logan. I joined the team cause I was scared.

Izuku: Scared?

Rogue: Yup. The power to take people's memories, abilities, powers - even their life was too traumatic for me. This nice man named Xavier helped me control it though. After that, I decided I wanted to show people that mutants aren't so bad, so I joined them.

Izuku: Right, I forgot that X23 was a mutant.

Rogue: Yep, and just like in your world. People didn't like us too much. If you thought that guy All Might was being Quirkest, then trust me, our past world would've really messed you up. Once your mom came back to earth, Mystique had a vision that Carol was going to try and kill me, so, me being the one to not want that to happen...

Izuku: You attacked her...

Rogue: I did, hehe I couldn't fly, I didn't have any speed but I fought for my life - that is until I got my hands on her. Took all of her powers including some of her mentality. When she got back in the game, we fought some more, there was really no victory though. Nat fought ya mom to a draw because of skill. I fought her to a draw because of power.
