"It was a good battle, but I still kicked your butt." I said to my opponent Gingka. He sighed. "(Y/n), you've changed." He said as I looked at him with a puzzled look on my face. "What I mean is, battles were just fun back then! Now, it seems like you just want to beat everyone every time." I glared at him and went back inside. Who was he to tell me what I'm like?
It was getting dark. That's good. Everyone started going to bed now. "Goodnight everyone." I said and walked to my room. I shut and locked the door before opening my window. I looked out it to make sure all the lights were off, which they were, and slowly and quietly snuck out the window shutting it behind me. There was a certain guy called The Dragon Emporer I was planning to visit.
I hopped on my bike and rode as fast as I could until the bey park was in view and then I stopped. There, sitting on a park bench, was Ryuga. I smirked as I went and sat down next to him. "Hey Ryuga." I said as normal as I could. I don't want him to know that I, (y/n), had a crush on him! "Hello (y/n)." He said just as calmly back. I've known Ryuga for a long time, and trust me, he wasn't always this calm.
We stayed silent for a while, as usual. We do this a lot, but only when everyone is asleep. The others just wouldn't understand my love for Ryuga! It was getting later and I tried something I haven't tried surprisingly. I took Ryuga's hand in mine and lied my head on his shoulder. He seemed slightly surprised and I may have seen him blush out of the corner of my eye. That made me decide that tonight is the night.
I sat up and looked at Ryuga. He was staring at the sky. "U-umm... Ryuga? May I tell you something?" He turned to look at me. "What is it (y/n)?" He asked. "Well... You see... I-" I was cut off by him leaning closer to me. I blushed as my eyes widened. I decided to close the gap and kissed him right then and there. I blushed deeper and this time I know I saw him blush. He kissed back and we both closed our eyes.
"So (y/n), this is where you've been sneaking out then." My eyes widen and we pulled back to see Gingka and Tsubasa. "G-Gingka? Tsubasa?" I blushed. They both laughed. "You could have just told us." Gingka said. Tsubasa nodded. "Yeah we've been getting worried." He added. I glanced at Ryuga who was surprisingly still there and blushing. "Sorry guys..." I said. They smiled. "It's fine." "Now we'll go head back so you can get some privacy."
The boys left and I laughed slightly. "I can't believe they're so cool about this." He laughed too. "So (y/n), would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked looking away. I smiled brightly. "I've been waiting to hear you ask forever! Of course!" I said and hugged him tightly. He smiled and hugged back. "I love you Ryuga!" I said. " I love you too (y/n)."
