Your P.O.V
"Um...{favorite ice-cream flavor}." The orange headed teen shouted the order back to the other workers in the back of the ice cream shop.
"Hey, I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new to the neighborhood?" You turn to the orange headed worker to receive your ice cream.
"Um, yeah I am a blader. I come from a small village and so I came here for more rivals." You lick your ice cream, and begin to walk away.
"Wait!" You turn to see him talk someone in the back of the shop before, jumping over the counter.
"If it is a bey battle you want, then why didn't you just ask me?"
"Well, one I can't read minds, and second I just met you, um what's your name?"
"Yu, Yu Tendo."
"Oh, {f/n}, {l/n}."
"So, you bey battle?"
"Yup, and I have come here to practice."
"So cool, hey you want to bey battle?"
"Sure!" As you two walked over to the bey stadium, you got ready. Standing opposite of Yu, you held out your launcher.
"3, 2, 1, Let it rip!!!" Your bey Racer Gryphion was launched into the stadium at full force, and with great accuracy. You studied Yu's bey; a Flame Libra T125ES, stamina type, and most likely attacks from a distance... First you would have to test his strength.
"Go, Gryphion!" Your bey launches itself at Libra, basically doing a drill it has done many times before, barrage attack, smashing into it, and quick slashes.
"Ha? Is that all you got? Libra sonic wave!!!" Suddenly a green wave of energy launched from his bey and almost hit your bey. Narrowing your eyes you glared at the bey you relized it was the ES performance tip's work. Hm, looking around the stadium you realized you could somehow throw Libra into the air and keep hitting the bey, but how...
"Go Racer Gryphion!" Your bey smashed into Libra witch slightly stooped off balance. But before long it had somehow regained its balance. You narrowed your eyes, and began to think again, you obviously had to rethink this... Out of the corner of your eye you could see spectators starting to gather. Man are we that interesting?
"Those won't work ether! But lets see how you like this! Libra Sonic Buster!!!" You look in horror as the stadium started to transform into sand. You quickly look to the side of the stadium and realized it was your only hope. If you were to gain speed then jump, then land back down with your momentum you could glide over the sand. Try to hit him though, could be a different story...
"Race and fly, Gryphion!" Your bey gathered the last amount of speed it had and leaped into the air.
"WAHH?!?!" Yu screamed and looked up at Gryphion. You simply smirked and decided to make your move.
"Libra! Final Inferno Blast!!!" You look down at Libra with shock all over your face. A huge blast of rainbow colored sonic waves shot itself up into the air. Not knowing what to do you decided to make a new special move; Rapid Strike down.
"Go, Racer Gryphion special move RAPID STRIKE DOWN!!!" Suddenly a huge beam of blue and silver light shone the brightest and a massive explosion occurred.
"AAAAGGGG!!!" You screamed out to the heavens as a horrifying sound filled the air, you fell to your knees as you heard a bey still spinning. Looking up you saw something amazing; Gryphion was still spinning. Libra was stopped. You smiled and walked down to retrieve your bey even though it was still spinning. Picking it up you look up to see Yu standing in front of you.
"Man, I should of won that. I only let you win that by the way."
"Yah, sure you did."
"It is true!!!"
"Pff, whatever."
"Hey, um do you want to go get some ice-cream?" Yu said, you smiled when you noticed that he was blushing.
"Sure!" As Yu took your hand you saw the spectators smiling at the two of you. Walking down the path, your hand still in Yu's you noticed that the sun was starting to go down. As you walked over to the ice-cream shack, Yu jumped over the counter and went to the back and came back with a medium {f/f} cone and a chocolate cone. Handing you the cones he jumped over the counter again and closed up shop. Taking back his chocolate you started walking through the park with Yu walking closesly by your side.
"Hey, Yu?"
"Yeah?"
"How did you know what flavor I liked?" At that question Yu's face flushed.
"I payed attention to your order." Yu said this quite sheepishly as you ate the rest of your ice-cream. You finally came to a bench and sat down. Yu sat beside you as well, you looked at the sunset in joy.
"Hey, you got some ice-cream on your face {y/n}."
"Oh I do?"
"Yup, right here!" You felt a small kiss planted on the corner of your mouth, instantly you felt your cheeks heat up.
"Hey, thanks for the great bey battle, I really enjoyed it." Yu said simply and scooted closer to you. Leaning your head on his shoulder, you felt him sniff your hair.
"Hmm, your hair smells better than chocolate ice-cream." Planting another kiss on your cheek. You closed your eyes and enjoyed the rest of the night.
