~Atsumu~

At the sound of a knock on the door, Atsumu is quickly bounding down the stairs. He's been bored as fuck all day; it's only 1 pm. So he spammed Suna, aware he was doing nothing since his grandma and sister are gone for the weekend and Suna relented and told Atsumu he was heading over.

"Thank god I was gonna die." He says the second he throws the door open, getting an amused and slightly annoyed expression from Suna.

"Drama queen." Atsumu rolls his eyes and steps to the side, letting the boy into the house.

"Oh please I know ya were bored ta." Suna slips off his shoes and Atsumu lets the door slam shut.

"I was actually being productive and doing homework. You interrupted me." Atsumu sends the boy a smirk.

"You coulda easily silenced me." Suna glares but says nothing since the boy is technically right. He could have. Atsumu grins. "Exactly." Suna shakes his head with a small sigh before turning to face Atsumu.

They are about to turn and head upstairs to chill in Atsumu's room but then they hear the sound of footsteps on the stairs as well as the sound of keys jingling together. His mom is running errands so there's only one person it can be and god they always do have the worst timing ever. Suna frowns, stepping away from the door as Osamu reaches the ground floor.

He looks a bit surprised to see both Atsumu and Suna standing there, looking at him. He doesn't say anything nor really stops moving. Just goes to the door and slips on his shoes. Suna keeps his gaze on the boy and Atsumu honestly can't really read what Suna is thinking. Possibly just looking at Osamu to see if he'll say anything as he slips on his shoes and opens the door.

He doesn't. He does look at Suna. Meets his eyes. They haven't talked or really seen each other since Suna stopped his fight. Atsumu doesn't really expect much but he is honestly surprised when he sees a small glare in his brother's eyes when they land on Suna's. Suna looks unimpressed at the glare which doesn't last long since he doesn't stay long. But both Atsumu and Suna see the glare his brother directs at Suna before he is leaving the house, door shutting behind him. Atsumu can't help the surprise and confusion as they both hear the car door open and shut and then the engine switch on. Atsumu turns to Suna whose eyes are glued to the window as the car pulls out of the driveway.

"Wait, 'm sorry, 's he mad at ya?" There's no reason to ask Suna since Suna wouldn't know the answer. Still, Atsumu finds himself asking and Suna ends up shrugging in response, eyes on the window even though the car—Osamu, is gone.

"I dunno, probably." He says simply and finally turns to Atsumu. He honestly doesn't look too bothered by it. "I mean, I did stop him from fighting." He's then walking past Atsumu and upstairs. Atsumu's eyes follow the boy before his legs do. Suna is right. He did stop Osamu from fighting. Stepped right between them. Demanded him stop. Hell even hit him. Would explain the anger or annoyance.

Atsumu doesn't think that's it though.

He follows Suna up the stairs.

Atsumu honestly thinks Osamu is more upset at himself than Suna. Since yeah Suna stood between him and the poor other boy fearlessly. But they all know Osamu is stronger. He didn't have to listen to Suna. Could have walked past him. Moved him to the side.

He thinks Osamu is more upset Suna is even able to just stand there and tell Osamu to stop and he'll listen. Mad that Suna just has that much of an effect on him. Has that much say over his actions. Osamu wouldn't get mad at Suna for stepping in. He would be mad at himself for listening like that.

He doesn't voice this to Suna though. He can't. Well, he could. It doesn't really give anything away. Still, he keeps it to himself.

"He has no right ta be mad at ya for yesterday." Is what he says instead as he and Suna walk into his room, Atsumu shutting the door behind him and watching as Suna collapses on his bed with a sigh.
