To poison a dark

-day or two later-

They worked non stop for a few days, getting stuff for it and figuring out how to make it work and today they were perfecting the finished product.

"Alright, just one last thing to do." Mephiles said, observing the poison.

"What?" Shadow asked.

"Trap him and give him a large dose of it." Mephiles answered. "Now come on."

They all nodded in agreement and put the poison in several syringes that they made sure they covered before hiding them in their quills.

"Ready?" Shadow asked the group, taking out an emerald.

"Yeah, let's go poison our brother!" Scourge exclaimed.

They all looked at him in slight shock though the twins were quite amused, without another word they teleported to where they could sense Sonic and they found him terrorizing a group of older street kids that tried to run and escape the bloodthirsty hedgehog.

They stared at him in shock for Sonic was no longer just blue he was completely black with lines of different shades of blue that glowed and went around his body similar to lightning and his eyes no longer had pupils not to mention any visible mouth and he was also followed by a dark mist that trailed behind him as he flew around.

"Hey! Faker!" Shadow called out to him.

Sonic stopped abruptly and turned to look at the black and red hedgehog who stood in the middle of the street.

"Shadow?" Sonic asked, his voice cold and menacing. "Where are the others? Were they too chicken to come?"

"Think again pin cushion!"

Sonic turned to see Scourge, Umbra, and Mephiles. Pinning his ears, Sonic looked back at Shadow and found Fleetway and Darkspine next to him.

"Well this is nice, the whole family is back together after all this time," Sonic smirked, slowly floating down till he landed between them. "Shame I have to kill you all."

"You couldn't even if you tried." Darkspine snapped.

"Wanna bet?" Sonic tried, staring at him.

"You're such a foolish child." Darkspine said, his voice full of disdain.

"I am not the foolish one here." Sonic snapped, crossing his arms over his chest. "And I will kill you."

"Go ahead and try." Scourge dared. "I dare you."

"Fine." Sonic shrugged. "Never knew someone would be so eager to die."

With that he raised his hands up before slamming them against the ground sending a shock in all directions causing the concrete pavement to crack and make a bit of a crater, some fell from the small quake and some jumped or flew into the air avoiding the shock wave.

Sonic then lunged at them and waved his hand in front of him sending a bunch of shadow spears at them but they quickly dodged and Sonic flew back a little watching them move around and form a half circle in front of him, confused he looked behind himself and found the others had finished the circle.

"Ha, you think I will be intimidated by being surrounded?" Sonic asked sarcastically. "Too bad you will fail at trying to stop me."

Quickly they all lunged at once but Sonic flew up narrowly avoiding the collusion.

"Are you even trying? It seems you do not have a very coronated plan." Sonic mused, looking down at the pile of villains with a small chuckle. "Honestly it almost makes me feel bad for you.. almost."
