The sound of a loud knock woke you from your sleep. Groaning, you called out "Mmm, what?"

"Lady Flora, it's me." Nora announced from the other side of the door.

You sighed internally and sat up.

"Come in."

Nora slowly opened the door to the room, closing it behind her. She didn't step any closer, though.

"I hope I didn't wake you, my Lady." She spoke faintly.

"It's okay. Is there an issue?"

"No, there isn't. I thought I'd let you know that breakfast is being served in a few moments. Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters will be departing shortly after."

You honestly forgot they were still here for a second. After the events of last night, you and Alcina returned back to the lounge to finish the movie with the girls. They didn't even seem remotely tired after the movie ended, but you on the other hand, retired for the evening back to your room. You were exhausted and it was not only because of the sex, but because of the energy you spent overthinking earlier in the day over the dinner that went better than you thought.

"Okay. Let everyone know I'll be down in a bit." You softly smiled.

Nora smiled and nodded. "Yes, my Lady."

"You know you don't have to use formalities with me, right? My name is just fine."

"Lady Flora..."

"My first name." You laughed earning a laugh from her.

"I'll try my best."

"Thank you. I know you're only trying to be respectful but that's not necessary when it's only us, okay?"

You noticed a small blush crept up on her cheeks. You didn't mean it in the way she hopefully did not take it. She just had a good head on her shoulders and you could trust her, that's all.

"Okay." She spoke.

You smiled. "Now if I may be excused. I believe I have a breakfast to get ready for."

"Right. Of course. See you shortly, my La— Y/N." She corrected.

You laughed to yourself and raised out of bed as Nora left, closing the door behind her.

You made haste getting ready, not wanting to keep anyone waiting incase they didn't start eating until you got there.

When you got downstairs to the dining room you found everyone already seated.

Alcina was sat across from you. You only spoke briefly last night that it would be best to act as if nothing's happened to not draw attention to yourselves.

"Good morning girls... Alcina..." You smiled as you sat down.

Alcina only smiled back, her demeanor clearly being more regal. Her daughters on the other hand, said 'good morning' in perfect unison.

The distance isn't unnoticed by you. You know it's for the best but you can't help but feel a pang of sadness that you pushed down.

"I hope everyone slept alright." You spoke.

Daniela nods her head quickly, clearly enthusiastic about her evening. Cassandra on the other hand seems a little tired— or more rather annoyed.

"I slept great last night!" She said vibrating in her seat.

"Eh, it's hard to sleep when little miss energy over here won't shut up." Cassandra scolded.

My own daughters begin to chime in.
