Yesterday went up in a blur and Mehandi and haldi took place .Everyone was enjoying the best time but Gauri's father had a sad feeling since his daughter was leaving his house the next day.Even though he was happy ,it was difficult for him to send her away.
Today was the wedding day ,the day everyone in Jaisalmer waited for so eagerly all these years finally came ,the wedding of their king.The people were happy to have their Rani -Maa.The family was happy to have their daughter with them forever.But happiest among them were two lovers who had been waiting and yearning for this moment since centuries.
On one side,they were happy to finally become each other's in every way but on the same time,there was a nervousness building up in them about this new phase of life .Will they be able to have it all together like they did ?Will they be able to overcome those challenges this new phase threw at them ?No matter what these questions were they knew that they would hold each other's hand through these obstacles and would stand next to their partner being each other's strength.
In west wing of the Royal Palace,the boy squad had been pacing in the room making Maan get ready for his day .But his Royal highness has been hiding in his room since the last one hour.Finally, being tired with the failed attempts to call him out Namit decided to use the spare key and enter the room.
The view in front of them was enough to shock them out of their wits.Abhimaan was sitting in the room near a mini fridge he got and filling it up with some snacks consisting of chocolates,soft drinks,Greek yoghurt and a organiser filled with all kinds of chips and all .He was checking in that list if he left or forgot anything .Being satisfied with his work ,he stood up only to witness four people with flaring noses and glaring eyes looking at him.He gave them a sheepish smile and before anyone could say anything ,he ran into the bathroom.
"Aaj isi ki shaadi hai na ?Kahin hum log hi ek din pehle to nahi aagaye?",Ajit mumbled. (His wedding is today only ,right.Or by any chance,are we here on the wrong day?)
His mumbling was shut off by a glare by Bade Hukum and the very cute politician ,Thakur Saheb, who gave him a 'you -are-sure-you-are-not-drunk'look .
As Abhimaan was finally out of the shower in his track pants and t shirt walking towards his closet to get ready in his sherwani.Before he could walk towards the closet,a question was thrown at him by Bade Hukum .
"Aaj aapki shaadi aur aap ye bacchon ki tarah snacks kyun ikatthe kar rahe the?Aur aap to aisa kuch khaate bhi nahi hain ." (Today's your wedding and you are sitting here stocking snacks as if you are a child and most importantly,you don't even eat these.)
"Well,I got these for Gauri.She can get a sweet tooth anytime .So,as her husband,I should take care,I fulfill all her needs.It's a snack slab for her so that she can have everything in her reach.",he said with an ear to ear smile .
