I saw her running away from the funeral. I went behind her. It should not have happened this way. It should not have happened to Siruzen-san, or to her.
He was a noble person, a father figure in my life. And she was the very reason I kept myself motivated to live on. To see them both in this state hurts. A lot.
Kami how much will you test us?
When I saw her standing still on the cliff, I felt she was trying to steady herself. She looked tired of running, tired of crying.
After a few silent moments, she sat down staring at the setting sun.
I saw her face. All I could see was a blank, plain look staring at the sunset while tears kept rolling down from her eyes. I've never seen her like this.
The silent tears. It was both frightening and agonizing to see. I could not comprehend what she was thinking so I remained silent without announcing my presence.
She remained silent and just kept staring ahead. After sometime she stood up and started walking forward
"Why didn't you take me with you dad?" she said staring straight
"You could've just taken me with you to death, like how you took me everywhere. You, me and mom could be together as a family once again"
She was asking to no one in particular. But just kept saying words out of her heart. She needed to let her heart out. She needs a closure.
I stayed there silently listening to her, waiting to just reach her once she lets everything out. I sincerely wished I could do something to ease the pain of my friend.
"Even if you didn't take me, I'll come by my own" she walked towards the cliff edge. Those words went straight up to my mind as I knew what she was thinking to do.
