After school Vlad invited Robin, and Anna over. Anna was helping him with homework while Robin looked around. "So I carry the one and add up the columns which makes.. three thousand nine hundred and twenty one." Vlad said as he and Anna were focusing on maths.

"Correct. You're brilliant Vlad." Anna said in surprise. Maths is his second worst subject, the first being English since it wasn't his first language.

"Only because you're helping me. But, this is actually kinda fun when I understand it." Vlad said.

"You're joking. I'd rather have my tongue pulled out." Robin said.

"Don't say that when mum gets here, Robin. Wouldn't want to give her ideas." Ingrid said as she walked in.

"You really believe she's going to turn up? After all the times she's let us down. Mum doesn't care about us. She ran off with a werewolf. Get over it." Vlad said to her.

"Werewolves are real too?!" Anna asked in amazement. Vlad nodded.

"Cool! Is he coming too?" Robin asked excitedly.

"Ignore Ingrid, my mum is not coming to stay!" Vlad said definitely. Then as if on cue, the front doors swung open and a woman dressed nicely seemed to glide in on the air. She took off her sunglasses and Robin and Anna were blown away by her beauty. She seemed perfect; perfect skin, makeup, bone structure.

"Hello darlings." She said in a smooth voice, dragging out the pet name.

"Mum I've missed you! I hate living with dad

"Mum I've missed you! I hate living with dad." Ingrid embraced her mom and said.

"There, there, don't cry. No really, don't. It's Versace." Her mother replied, no emotion in her voice. "And how's my little Vlady?" She asked, looking to Robin since he was wearing his cape. "Goodness, haven't you changed." She said.

"Not that much I haven't." Vlad said from his seat.

"Oh Vlad, I didn't recognize you." She said, leaning closer to him. Then their grimy servant Renfield walked in coughing loudly.

"Who let the skunks in?! Oh, it's just you mistress Magda." He said, his snaggle tooth impeding his speech.

"I see you're still around. Take my case up to a spare coffin. I'll see you all at dinner, or for dinner." Magda said, tossing her case into Renfield's lower body and then gliding away.

"You're mum's awesome." Robin said dreamily.

"Yeah, isn't she." Vlad said sarcastically.

"And she's beautiful." Anna admitted out loud. Vlad gave her a weird look.

"Dad's going to be so pleased to see her." Ingrid said and then Magda's case came flying back into the room.

"Out!" They heard Dracula shout and it shook the whole castle. Then he and Magda walked back into the room.

"But Bonbons-"

"Don't call me Bonbons. Now go on! Back to that manky dog you left me for!" Dracula shouted.

"Well Patrick and I have been having some problems." Magda admitted.

"And you just thought you would come crawling back to me?" He said.

"I thought I'd pop in for a drink and a chat. I brought our favorite." Magda said and held up a bottle. Dracula grabbed it and read the label.

"'French Aristocrat 1792'." He was hooked. "There's a spare towel in the cupboard, but if I catch hide or hair of that werewolf, you're straight out the door! Psycho." He gave in and she walked away triumphantly.

"Wow, that's beautiful. Just seeing the two of you back together." Ingrid said.

"I am so over her!... Did you think there was a bit of chemistry there?" He asked.

"Alright that's it, I've got to get rid of her." Vlad said determinately. He, Robin, and Anna were sitting outside the castle with Zoltan, Vlad's pet hellhound on wheels.

"Are you serious?" Robin asked.

"Yeah, she'll ruin everything. Dad's already given away my room to Ingrid." Vlad complained.

"There are worse things that could happen." Anna said.

"It's not just that. She's done this ever since we were little. Turns up, promises the world, then leaves. I can't go through it again." Vlad said and Anna could hear the disappointment in his voice.

"Okay, it's a bit radical, but there is one way you could get rid of her. Remember what your dad was saying, that 'if he finds hide or hair of that werewolf then Magda would be straight out the door'." Anna reminded him.

"Nice idea, but where are we gonna find werewolf hair?" Vlad asked. Robin looked to Zoltan.

"Uh-I'm just going for a-no!" Zoltan said while trying to wheel away but Vlad caught him.

Zoltan howled and Vlad came in with a clump of his hair. Just like that Magda was out of the house and Vlad got his room back.

Vlad sat glumly at the lunch table. "What's got you looking so down?" Anna asked.

"I think I messed up." He said, staring at his sandwich.

"With what?" She asked.

"Planting that hair so that mum would leave. I think my dad really loves her. You should have seen him, last night he came into my room and was so sad that he didn't yell at me when I said I couldn't fly." Vlad explained. Before Anna could answer, Johno VanHelsing sat down.

"Hey dudes, mind if I join you?" He said.

"No/yes." Anna and Vlad replied.

"Thanks." He said. "So I heard your mum's visiting."

"You're wrong." Vlad told him.

"Hey Vlad, does your mum like slugs?" Robin asked as he sat down with cupped hands.

"Robin!" Anna and Vlad said simultaneously. They were supposed to be keeping quiet.

"Right." Robin said and piped down. Johno took a bite of Vlad's home cooked meal, which would never be good for people.

"No!" They heard shouted from across the room and then Mr Van Helsing came up. He grabbed Johno and did the heimlich to make him spit it out. "Do you have any idea what was in that?!" He exclaimed.

"Tomato ketchup! And half a beetle, ew!" Johno exclaimed.

"Come on, let's go." Robin said and the three of them left.
