The Count strode into the great room and was shocked to see Ingrid dressed all in pink and wearing her hair in pigtails. "In the name of all that's evil, what foul wrongness is this?" He asked.

"It's the school's fancy dress dance tonight. I'm in charge of decorations so I got to pick the theme." Ingrid explained.

"She chose horror." Renfield explained while he scrubbed the fireplace. Ingrid stood from her seat and did a twirl, shaking arounf pink glittery pompoms.

"Horrifying isn't it?" She said.

"I wasn't talking to you." The Count spoke, coming out of his shock to realize he didn't want to praise Ingrid on a horrifying job well done. "I was talking to Vlad. What are you wearing?" The count asked looking at Vlad in cargo shorts and a green polo with a gold scarf around his neck.

"I've joined the scouts." Vlad explained. "Is that alright?" He asked.

"Not until there's breath in my body." The count replied, dismissing the idea.

"But please dad! They do all of this cool stuff like fire lighting, tying knots, hiking-"

"I'm not having you running about in the fresh air. You need to stay in your room more." The Count decided.

The school gym was decorated with pink and yellow decorations everywhere. No one else inthe whole school thought it was scary except for Ingrid. And unfortunately she was stuck on cloakroom duty because VanHelsing blackmailed her into it, threatening to stake her dad. Anna had to go alone because Vlad, Robin, and Chloe were all doing things with their dads for Father's day. She had already given her dad his present earlier. When she walked up she saw Ingrid at the booth. "Ingrid, you're on coat duty?" She asked in suprise.

"Stupid VanHelsing put me here." Ingrid grumbled. "Let me see your hand. I've got to stamp it." she said. Anna quickly took her coat off and held her hand out. "what are you dressed as?!" Ingrid exclaimed, horrified by the grotesque clothes that were clearly mildewed and stained.

"I'm Renfield. I don't know of anything more horrifying than his hygiene." Anna replied.

"I'm with you on that one. Worse than pink." Ingrid was impressed and disgusted.

"Yep. Hey, if you want. I'm not really here with anyone. I can do the coats and you can enjoy your dance." She offered.

"Really? Even after showing up in the best costume?" Ingrid asked.

"Yeah, You'll probably have more fun than me." Anna shrugged.

"Thanks." Ingrid said, taking her up on her offer. She came around the booth and walked into the gym.

"No problem."
