Book 2: Jade Harley [Sadstuck]

Chapter 7

Daves POV

I heard Dirk talking to someone over the phone. He sounded worried. Which was odd because Dirk was never worried for anything.

"Jakes coming over." He said to me. I nod and go back into my room. About 10 minutes later I heard knocking at the door.

"Hey Jake-"

"Dirk it's been almost a week now I'm worried sick about her!" I walk out of my room to listen what they're talking about. "I got a call from her yesterday. She was really quiet and I could tell she had been crying. At one point she stopped talking and I got worried. She hung up after that. I haven't gotten any messages from her since."

"Jake please calm down. I promise we'll find her." They hug and both go to the couch.

"Who are you two talking about?"

"Dave? How much did you hear?"

"I heard everything. Now tell me what you're talking about."

"Jade has been gone for few days," Jake says. "And she hasn't messaged me since she went missing."

"Jade is gone? Now I feel really bad.."

"Feel bad for what? Dave what did you do?" Dirk asks.

"I yelled at her... and called her a liar."

"Dave why the fuck would you do that?!"

"Well, a kid named Karkat told me I couldn't trust her! And I didn't believe him, but a girl named Vriska told me that they used to be friends and that Jade back stabbed Vriska or some shit like that!"

"Jade was never friends with a girl named Vriska.." Wait? What?

"So Vriska lied to me? Does that mean Karkat lied to me also?"

"More than likely."

"God I feel so betrayed.." I look down at the ground. My vision gets blurry and I feel dizzy.

"Dave are you ok?" I hear Dirk say. I try to talk, but I can't open my mouth. I felt my self fall on the ground.

~Time skip~

I woke up but I wasn't in the apartment. I was sitting next to someone with red and blue glasses.

"Dave are you even paying attention?"

"Heh, sorry Sollux.." Sollux, that's his name. Wait did I just say that?!

"Good. Then let'th get back to the game!" We go back to playing, whatever game were playing.

"Dave!" Everything goes black.

"Dave god damnit if you're messing with me it's not fucking funny. Just wake up please!" I open my eyes and see Dirk standing in front of me. I'm laying in my bed.

"Dave are finally awake?"

"Yeah.. what happened?"

"You passed out for some reason."

"I had a weird ass dream.. There was this nerdy kid with red and blue glasses.. His name started with a S.."

"Sollux?"

"Yeah that's it. How do you know?"

"He used to be your best friend but unfortunately he's gone now.."

"Oh.."

"Yeah..." Well that got awkward really fucking fast. I took off my glasses and rubbed my eyes. I lay back down and close my eyes drifting off to sleep.

Jades POV

He killed her. Karkat really killed Terezi. Here I am, with a lifeless body, locked in god knows where, by myself. I'm afraid. I can't do anything. Kankri took my phone so I can't text Jake..

I curled up into a ball and started crying. I've been crying a lot.. I look around and I see something shiny. A piece of broken glass. It looks close enough and I might be able to get it. I reach out and try to grab it.

"Dammit..." I mutter under my breath. I try for a few minutes and I give up. I try one more time and I move it closer. I try again and I keep moving closer and closer to me, until I grab it. I start to cut the rope off of my hands when I hear a door being opened. Oh shit. Oh shit oh shit oh shit! I get the rope off my wrist, and now my feet. I hear the door open so I cut the ropes off my feet as quickly as possible. I get them off and I see a shadow at the other end of the room.

"NICELY DONE, JADE," He walks over to me but I back away. "DONT BE AFRAID. IM KEEPING YOU SAFE!"

"Keeping me safe?! You've killed someone, kidnapped me twice, put Dave in a coma, and threatened to kill me multiple times!" I yell at him. He just laughs.

"Don't worry Jade~" Did he just lower his voice? "I'll keep you safe from harm~"

bleh I know the chapters short. I was kinda lazy while writing it, so if any things misspelled I'm very sorry.

I'm also still freaking debating whether there should be smut or not. If I decide to do it, its going to be terrible lmao.
