Don't fear change; Let change fear you.

Jake POV:

"꽉 잡아 날 덮치기 전에

내 맘이 널 놓치기 전에

Say what you want

Say what you want

니가 진짜로 원하는 게 뭐야?"

My alarm goes off, signaling another day has started. I groan and get out of bed, still groggy. I walk down, greeted with the smell of toast and vegemite. "Morning eomma." I say, grabbing a plate and a piece of toast.

My older sister, Jane, dumps her bread onto my plate. "You need it," she says, messing with my hair. "Shortie." Yep. She's an inch taller than me and won't let me hear the end of it.

"I'll be taller than you," I say, standing on the tips of my toes. "Soon enough."

Then, my mom walks in. "You guys should start packing. Our flight is tomorrow, and I don't want you two rushing your packing and forgetting something."

Me and Jane look at each other before sprinting to our rooms. It's unspoken between us. Every time we're both told to do the same thing, it automatically becomes a competition between us. Even though she normally wins, I have less things to pack than her, so I come out first, rolling my suitcase behind me and looking triumphant. "Take that oldie." I say, smiling.

She rolls her eyes. "Midget." I punch her on the arm, lightly so she knows that I'm joking.

"KIDS," eomma yells. "COME DOWN. YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL OR ELSE YOU'RE FATHER'S LEAVING WITHOUT YOU TWO."

We groan, but comply. "I don't see why we have to go to school on our last day." I grumble. But I get in the car.

On our way to school, we see a couple, holding hands, walking down the street. My parents shake their heads. "Those fucking faggots don't need the whole country to know that they're just a bunch of moojigae dduk." My mom agrees, nodding her head. Yep, that's right. My parents are strictly homophobic. My sister, not so much. She's not a homophobe, but she doesn't go out of her way to disagree with my parents' statements. Me? Well, you could say that I'm the polar opposite of my dad. I'm gay, but no one knows about it, except for Jane. But I trust her not to tell our parents.

School goes by without any issues. When we get home, I don't bother with my homework. It's not like I'll be coming tomorrow to hand it in. Dinner is steak with fries, cooked by me. After that, I'm pretty tired, so I head in to sleep.

"SIM JAEYUN," someone yells. I abruptly get out, reluctantly opening my eyes. Eomma is standing over me, looking pissed. "YOU HAVE AN HOUR TO GET READY." With that warning, I shoot out of bed and straight into the bathroom. After taking a hot shower and doing my skincare, I get dressed and head downstairs. The four of us get in the car, and we get to the airport quickly. It's like a blur. We get on the plane, and now, we're off. Away from Australia, my life as I knew it, and towards a new one, to Korea.

Heeseung POV:

"YAH," Sunoo yells. "GET AWAY FROM MY MINT CHOCO." He's glaring at his boyfriend, Riki, who took a giant tub of mint chocolate ice cream from the fridge.

"Sun," I say, slowly moving closer. "Calm down. You two are basically all over yourselves 24/7. I think sharing a tub of mint chocolate ice cream is the most innocent thing you've done this month." Jay laughs, wrapping an arm around his boyfriend Jungwon's shoulder.

Sunoo finally calms down. "Fine." he says, still pouting. "But he still owes me."

Hoon comes down, and only hearing the last part, says, "Ha! You were the one that owed him. I heard you begging him to let you top him last night." He grimaces.

I sigh, leaving so I can get my coffee. Practice went hard last night, and I wasn't able to get any sleep yesterday. Or the day before. Or the day before that. Or the day before that. Or the day- Well, you get my point. When I get back to the room, they've already moved on. "Did you hear about that new guy?" Won says. "I heard Bang sunbae saying something about how he passed the Australian audition with the top spot.

"Ooo, an Aussie," Jay says, looking excited. "Dani's going to be happy that she's not the only one."

"Dani? Like the one that's under Min sunbae's company?" Won asks, looking suspicious. "How do you know her?"

Jay laughs. "You don't need to get jealous, Wonnie. I only know her because we can speak English fluently." he looks at Hoon when he says that.

"Hey!" Hoon says, looking mad. "Wony says that my English is cute. I don't care if she's biased."

" 'Wony' thinks everything about you is cute," Riki says, smirking. "Your English, your face, your hair, your di-"

"YAH," Jay yells, covering Won's ears. "THERE ARE CHILDREN HERE."

I laugh, and say, "Jay, you're yelling again, and I think Won's going to go deaf before Hoon and Wonyoung do it again, which is probably in five minutes." Hoon starts to protest, but we've already moved on with the convo. I sigh internally. I love my friends, but sometimes they're a handful. Let's see how this Aussie boy does with them.

Hey! I'm back and with a new story, and if you were enjoying Fireworks, I'm really sorry for deleting it. I just felt like I wasn't really going anywhere with it. I don't really have an update schedule, so they'll be at random times. This chapter's song rec is "No More Dream" by BTS. Now, I'm not an ARMY, and I'm only recommending this song because it's Jake's alarm. See you next update!
