You Complete Me

Chapter 2

Don't let people mess with your feelings; It's just because they're unsure of their own.

Jake POV:

I take a step into my new house. It's definitely roomier than our old house. Jane walks up next to me. "Let's pick our rooms before eomma and appa choose them for us." she says, grimacing at the thought of not having the room she wants. I nod, not wanting the worst room. The house has two floors; the living room, dining room, a bathroom, and the kitchen are on the first floor. There's four bedrooms: One for me, one for Jane, one for mom and dad to share, and one guest bedroom. Along with two more bathrooms. I look through all the rooms, making a mental list of which one would best suit what I want.

In the end, I choose a big room that has a window that lets a lot of sunlight in. Now for my favorite part: decorating/furnishing. Before anything, I bring my things upstairs to get a basic idea of how everything fits.

I look around, feeling triumphant. Five hours after we arrived at the house, I'm done. I painted the whole room dark blue, my favorite color. My desk and bed are right next to each other, right by the window. My built-in closet is filled to the brim with clothes and is practically overflowing. The walls are filled with posters of idols, such as BTS, TXT, and others. If you were to walk into my room, you would think it's messy, but everything's organized; there's just a lot of things. Since I'm not hungry, I take a shower and go to bed early so I'm ready for tomorrow.

Heeseung POV:

"Aish," I say, pausing the song. "Why can I never get this right?" Turning around, I see Soobin hyung walking in. "Oh, hey hyung," I say. "What are you doing up so late?"

"I could ask you the same thing," he responds, stretching. "You trainees should get your rest. Once you debut, it's just a nonstop cycle of recording, practicing, and performing." he shakes his head. "I wish I had as much free time as you."

"Yeah, but at least your group doesn't tire you out on a 24/7 daily basis," I say jokingly. "And at least you aren't the only one that's single, having to see the PDA." Soobin hyung is dating Yeonjun hyung and they've been dating for 3 years. Taehyun hyung has been dating Beomgyu hyung and Kai hyung for 2 years, and they seem to be fine. Jay is dating Won, Sunghoon is dating Wonyoung, and Sunoo and Riki are dating each other. See? I'm the only single one. But somehow, I've gaslighted myself into thinking that I'm asexual. I'm fine with it though. "You want this room?" I ask, ready to move to another practice room. He nods, and I drop my stuff off in another room. I stretch, and start again, losing myself in the song.

By the time I feel like I made decent progress, it's already... 7AM?! I stayed up longer than I thought. I bring my things back to the dorm, hoping none of my roommates are awake.

"Heeseung hyung," Won says, sitting next to me. "I think Bang sunbae wants us to greet the new kid. We should get downstairs."

"Sure," I say, getting up. "Let me just get my coffee." I quickly went to Café Hype and ordered it. "Extra sugar please." I ask, feeling a little more tired than usual. I run back, hoping I'm not late. I find Won, asking, "I'm not late right?"

He shakes his head. "The guy's right there." he points to the door. I turn around, and the guy that just walked in is actually kind of cute, in a puppy-like way.

I walk to him and say, "Hi. My name is Heeseung. What's yours?"

Hey! I should mention that if you have any feedback for me, I'm open to all criticism if it'll help me improve. Like I told you guys before, I'm actually writing the story on another platform, proofreading it, then putting it here. Hopefully, this would make it so that the story isn't as disorganized and all over the place. This chapter's song rec is "Blue Hour" by TxT.
