Once upon a time, the peaceful and dreamlike world of Concordia, ruled by the caring, wise, fun-loving sorceress/queen Ciel DeBella, was a happy-go-lucky place filled with hope and friendship. It had several famous places and attractions: the Shiny Supernova Amusement Park (where most would often go during summer breaks), its many lakes and beaches (where some would go fishing, swimming, or even jet-skiing - the Queen's favorite activity when she was young), and prestigious magic school Magic Skies Academy, where she taught. Five of the school's best students were writing club member Chiara Ruby, music club member Penny Emerald, cooking club leader Cherie Citrine, astronomy class favorite Nova Sapphire, and the bookish, somewhat anxious second-year Sachi Harmonia. She had an awesome relationship with Ciel DeBella, her favorite teacher, seeing her as a mother-figure or some sort.

One Friday, after school, the first four girls were on their way home. Sachi had just gotten her stuff from her locker, and is now exiting the building to meet up with some of her classmates (aka those four).

"H-Hey! Wait up...!" After tripping over thin air, she gets up and straightens her book-bag. "Hahaha, that was quite a fall, huh?"
Crickets chirping.
Our heroine straightens her glasses. "So, you got any plans for the weekend?"
"Actually..." the mint-haired one, Penny, answers. "Chiara's Sweet 16 is this Saturday. It's at the Crystal Clear Ice Rink."
"For reals? I haven't been there in forever!"
"My parents are great friends with its owner," Chiara adds, "so they're able to get us in for free!"
"Aren't your parents rich?" asks Sachi.
"Uh-huh! Are yours?"
A moment of silence on our heroine's end.
"Oh, I'm sorry... Hey, what are you gonna get me?"
"U-Umm..." She gets nervous, because she didn't get her anything. Sachi doesn't want to upset her friend, so she lies. "E-Earrings?"
"Earrings?"
"Y-Yeah!"
"It better be those 200 SkyCoin Scarlet Red Earrings with the rainbow finish and the platinum stars below them! I've been wanting them for AGES!"
"They...yeah, they sure are!" She fakes a yawn. "Well, it's nice to see you, but... I'm soooo exhausted. I'll be there!...at the Ice Rink!" Sachi rushes home.
The girls look at each other, confused. "Did she stay up last night or something?" asks Nova.
"Who knows..." Chiara turns to Cherie. "Hey, Cherie, that cake all ready for Saturday?"
"Abso-tively!" She grabs her phone. "Right here!" On its screen is a star-shaped cake with indigo frosting, glittery sprinkles shaped like stars, suns and moons, and chocolate-covered strawberries (one of Chiara's favorite snacks).
"Now that's perfection!" The redheaded meganekko does a fist pump. "This party's gonna be awesome!"

"No-no-no!! NOT awesome!" Sachi's in her room, a panicking mess. She lays on her bed, on her back. "I don't have the money to get her those earrings! What am I gonna dooooooo?!" She turns over, now on her stomach, her head buried in her pillow. "Those four are gonna hate me! And all because I don't have the money to get those stupid 200 SkyCoin earrings...!"
Just then, though she can't hear it too well, Sachi's ears catch the sound of mysterious laughter, causing her to raise up. "Oh, you poor, poor girl... Quite the predicament you're in!"
"Wh-Who said that?!"
"I know how I can help you~"
"You...can?"
The voice's owner appears. A mysterious figure in a midnight blue hooded cloak - which flows in a non-existent breeze, adorned with stars - appears before the teen's eyes. "Of course...first, your name?"
"S-Sachi Harmonia..." Sachi sits on the edge of her bed, nervous. She's been sheltered almost her whole life, unsure if she'll get into trouble for talking to a stranger.
"Ah, Sachi... The queen's top student. I have heard a lot about you."
"Oh! She must've told you about me, huh... Are you a good friend of hers?"
"You could say that. Come with me, child."
The figure leaves the room and teleports outside the house. Sachi, though having only mastered this skill for a week, does the same. "H-Here!"
"You want..." They stick a hand in the inside pocket of their cloak, then pull out a pair of earrings similar to the ones Chiara described. "...these, right?"
"Yes, yes, YES!!"
"Haha..." After having put the earrings back in, they turn around. "You will have to do something for me. Are you up for it?"
"Of course! I love a challenge!"
"Splendid. It's tonight." They leave. Though nervous, Sachi is determined to go through with it.
