(Last night I saw some fanart thing where apparently it was Haruhime and Michikatsu meeting after he died and she was waiting and I cried. Dude they loved each other, makes me come to tears remembering them. Haruhime you lucky woman 😭 (in the fanart, not the actual show/Manga itself-), plus Michikatsu was a lucky guy - THEY'RE BOTH PRETTY WTF).
Okay back on topic, AUs would make this a 10/10. But due to Michikatsu abandoning his whole damn family for the demon life is just.

Though, maybe it can save itself if it's actually Canon that Michikatsu/Kokushibo said that Haruhime and his kids were a genuine miracle to him and the best things he could ever ask for. That'll give this ship a 2/10 but it's still low. 8 points lost for abandonment <3
