Lan Xichen, Lan Wangji, and Wei Wuxian have just emerged from the mysterious mirror shrine, each of them feeling a mix of relief and exhaustion.
The air is bitterly cold, and the landscape around them is covered in a thick layer of snow.
As they begin to make their way northward, their journey becomes increasingly treacherous.
The group is suddenly confronted by a chilling sight then massive, menacing serpents appear out of the snow, their scales shimmering eerily in the pale light.
Despite their fearsome appearance, the serpents do not attack then they slither past the trio, seemingly uninterested in causing harm.
Though relieved, the three companions cannot afford to let their guard down.
The serpents' presence is a grim reminder of the dangers that still lie ahead in Wei Wuxian's mind.
As they press forward, the wind howls and snow begins to swirl around them, signaling the onset of a fierce blizzard.
The snowstorm intensifies rapidly, reducing visibility to mere feet and the trio struggles to stay on their feet as the wind lashes against their faces, and the snow accumulates quickly, making each step a challenge.
