The teenage boy had sat in the front passenger seat of the car, he looked out the window and had seen the sight of his mother interacting with the driver of the moving truck as she stood in front of the new house they had bought in Oakland Grove, Michigan as he had watched as his mother had kindly and gingerly directed the mover to take the boxes they had set in the truck and place them in the rooms that they had belonged in. The month of September had arrived and 17 year old Adam Easton had proceeded to look out at his mother with the progressive look of neutralist integrity while pondering the question running through out his head to fully understand the motivation behind all of this. Life hadn't been the same since Adam at a young age had witnessed his own father dying brutally and his mother had became a widow and so the trauma of his father's death caused them in response to move out of Arizona to hopefully move on and recover from the horror of it all, the aftermath of violent act had left a scar on Adam, his mother, and his older 18 year old sister Mia who sat along beside Adam in the backseat of the car her strawberry blonde hair had sat on her shoulders long and wavy as Adam had been listening to a YouTube music playlist consistently of industrial metal and underground cybergoth. He watched as the driver of the moving truck had nodded his head and soon for sure his mom had gone over to the car and ushered her two children out and told them to grab some bags and some small stuff packed away in there car soon for sure they did and both had brought whatever they grabbed into the house and soon had watched as the movers had brought in boxes and furniture carrying it in through the door and soon for sure Adam had watched his mother usher them to be careful with certain things.

One of the movers a Mexican man had bluntly spoke in Spanish. "Sí, sí, sí, tómate tu tiempo y ten cuidado, no tengas prisa." He said. "No corras, solo ten cuidado." His partner said. His mom tried to speak Spanish but being Caucasian her attempt at trying properly pronounce words in Spanish wasn't great. It was kinda terrible but well it wasn't for the judgement but the jokes for Adam's mom speaking Spanish terribly had wrote for themselves. Which of course was basically predictable but his mom was so oblivious and had a form of tunnel vision that not even she would describe from a let alone smooth brained capacity for one to fully understand with out looking incompetent or foolish. The feeble mind of a human wasn't something that could be understood but anyways the point of it being was that Adam had watched his mom instruct the movers to make sure that they had put the boxes down. Adam however did speak fluent Spanish with ease since one of the classes he took back in his other school in Arizona was a Spanish based class. He stopped one of the movers and looked at him and then spoke. "Me disculpo porque mi mamá no es lo suficientemente competente para hablar su idioma correctamente." Adam said. The mover nodded and soon just replied. "No hay necesidad de disculparse, no eres tú el que es malo al hablarlo." The mover said. And then he walked out the door to the truck to grab another box. Seconds later after the movement of boxes and putting stuff away in the proper places the remaining family had ordered a pizza as the mother had been too tired to cook anything after she had been everything away and the night time had fallen. The pizza had arrived and Adam had used the money that his mother gave to him to pay the pizza man, Adam had paid the man and grabbed the pizza and took it inside. He shut the door and sat the pizza down and his mom had gotten the plates they all ate and watched movies on the television after electrician had came by earlier after the moving company had left.

They had watched a bunch of old cheesey late night 80's horror films and such as they had watched such slashers such as Jason Voorhees hacking teenagers up with a machete and various weapons at Camp Crystal Lake as Adam had preferred slasher movies, his mom had mostly preferred paranormal ghost haunting movies, and his sister mainly preferred the casual gothic horror resembling vibes of Sleepy Hollow, Crimson Peak, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street. It was a mixed bag of horror movies that they would constantly switch to after one movie was over to the very end. The recent movie that Adam had watched was a horror film called Wicked Little Things a early 2000s horror film starring Scout Taylor Compton and the primary threat being zombie miner children seeking revenge on a bloodline spawn of the mine owner that killed them from way back then. The immediate cut to the night later as Adam had laid there in bed and soon for sure of course had hoped that tomorrow would be better, later that same night as Adam had slept he had nightmares horrible nightmares about him at a young age witnessing his father die brutally, he remembered the sight of it all the blood and screaming and coughing as a eight year old young Adam, his sister Mia, and his mother had watched as they all hid in the closet as they're father had tried to do his best to save his family only to get brutally killed after the attempt. He had watched the knife wielding man pin his pleading father against the wall as his dad had fought and begged for someone to help him only to receive a series of multiple knife stabs to his gut. The killer had been a home intruder that had been stalking and watching the house for quite some time and was planning making the move his face couldn't be seen as he had been wearing a black hoodie with a black mask and the knife had been gripped in a duo pair of black gloves on his hands as the gleaming silver blade of the kitchen knife that had decorated the knife blade in a crimson red coating. Adam watched his father be brutally stabbed 37 times in the stomach and chest. The knife wielding maniac had checked the premises and the area and had vanished off into the night without a sign of evidence at the crime scene. That was the moment that had permanently scarred the mind and mentality of Adam and his remaining family. He shot his eyes open rose up sitting up in his bed thinking it for a moment over in his head as he had thought about he stared into the darkness within his room trying to collect the event in his mind, he was wondering to himself "Why did he have to die, why was he taken so soon?" Adam had thought. Why was his dad taken from him? He just didn't understand it. He couldn't understand it anyways. I mean after all why would he, he just couldn't begin to fathom it together. This was bothering him so badly. Why? Well he knew why but why was it his dad? What did he do wrong that deserved death? Not only were these re-occurring questions that happened to exist in his head. But yet these were questions that had re-occurred in his head that would never be answered. Adam then fell asleep and then had slept on for the full night as a way to ease his mind with the insecure thought of death.

The next morning Adam had gotten up out of bed and had been greeted by the throwing of a pillow to his face from Mia. "Hey get up you little shit, mom says it's time for the first day of school." Mia said. Adam crawled out of bed and soon got dressed ready for the first day at his new school he came down to the kitchen ate breakfast and headed off out the door, he walked with his sister to the bus stop and soon waited for the bus and for sure soon enough the bus arrived and came to pick them both up they sat together in the back seat row of the bus next to a black kid named Tyrone. They arrived at the school as the bus had pulled into the school lot and dropped them as they both approached the school and the first day at a new school was about to begin and hopefully a new chapter in the life of Adam as well too.
