Yayy!!! New Characters!

Reba's P.O.V.

I grab my phone off the kitchen counter then crutch my may into the living room. I sit down on a cushioned chair then click on my Mama's number in my phone. It rings twice, then I hear a sweet, "Hello?" I gasp, "Mama! How are you? Are you feeling ok? How are Alice, Pake and Susie?" I hear a car door slam on the other end of the line, then Mama replied, "Reba Nell calm down! You would know if you came and answered the door already." I was so very confused by this statement, then I heard the doorbell ring. I told my mama to hang on, then limped my way to the front door. I slowly opened the front door then saw my red haired mama standing in the doorway! Tears filled in my eyes as I engulfed Mama in a bone-crushing hug. I never expected my Mama to be at the door of my Gallatin, TN home. My moment was interrupted by a voice coming from behind Mama saying, "Reba, don't kill her!" My little sister Susie stepped into my line of vision and tears welled in my eyes. I released my Mama and gave Susie a great, big bear hug. When I finally let go, I had a burning question that I asked. "How did y'all get here?" Susie answered, "Well, I talked to Narvel and he said that y'all had something we needed to discuss, so he bought us tickets on the next flight to Tennessee..." Susie continued on, but my Mama was pointing at the top of the stairs. I turned around and Narv was standing there with wide grin spread across his face. I just stared at him smiling for a good two minutes until Susie, who still wasn't done with her explanation butted in, "Are either of you listening anymore?" I turned around to face her again, then pulled them both into a hug and stated, "I'm so happy you guys are here!" We stood there in the entryway talking about fun little things, such as kids and grandkids, until I felt Narvel's arms wrap around my waist. He sets his head down on my shoulder, then joins in on the conversation. When I could tell that Mam was getting tired of standing, I thought aloud, "Why don't we move this to the kitchen?" Everyone agreed, then I told Mama and Susie to make themselves comfortable and that Narvel and I will be there in a few minutes. Narvel looked confused and I turned toward him. I took his face in my hands, and he positioned his on my hips and I leaned in for a gentle kiss on the lips. That was nice, but not the kind of kiss needed to tell Narvel thank you for all he does. I dragged my tongue across his bottom lip, begging for entrance. He finally allowed it and without breaking the kiss I shoved him forward a bit. He began to fall and I followed with him. His eyes opened wide as his body hit the couch we were standing in front of. I fell on top of him, straddling his midsection, then whispered, "Thank you," to the most important man in my life. We resumed our kiss, our lips moving in sync, massaging each other's. "You've got company, so get off of each other and chat with us. You've got no time to get a room!" I jumped when I heard Susie's voice, automatically blushing. When I turned to look at her she was wearing a grin. I removed myself from Narvel, then heard Susie mumble as she walked away, "They're gonna end up with a baby the same age as their granddaughter one day if they keep going at it like that." I giggled as I pulled Narvel off the couch. Once he is up, I grab his hand and start making our way into the living room. I stop him in the doorway of the kitchen and ask, "Good luck kiss?" He smiles and pecks me lightly on the lips. With that, we continue into the kitchen to talk about serious matters.

Susie's P.O.V.

I am working on getting Mama out of the car when her cell phone rings. She says to me, "Its Reba" She answers it and all I hear is gibberish coming from the other line. Reba always gets very excited when she gets to talk to us over the phone, so I can only imagine what she does when she knows we are here. I finish getting Mama out of the car then slam the door shut. Mama replies to Reba, "Reba Nell calm down! You would know if you came and answered the door already." That was my cue. I rang the doorbell then stood behind Mama. The door opened slowly at first, then swung open all of the way. I saw tears in my older sister's eyes as she hugged Mama tightly. When I was dying to get my hug, I said, "Reba, don't kill her!" With that, I stepped into the house also and gave Reba a huge hug. It had been almost a year since I saw Reba last, so this was a treat. Once inside, the first thing Reba asked was, "How did y'all get here?" I answered, ""Well, I talked to Narvel and he said that y'all had something we needed to discuss, so he bought us tickets on the next flight to Tennessee. When he arrived, he texted me saying that he had a rental car waiting at Hertz in the airport. When we got there, the car was a huge Tahoe, and we didn't need that, so I traded it in for a... are either of you listening anymore?" I saw Reba and Mama looking upstairs which housed a smiling Narvel. Let's just say that Reba and Narvel were a match made in heaven. I am expecting to have to break them up while on this visit, because they usually forget that they have company. Reba turns around, then grabs Mama and me again in a hug saying, "I'm so happy you guys are here!" We stand in the doorway making small talk about our lives and upcoming travel. Narvel intrudes on our circle by coming up behind Reba and wrapping his arms around her waist. He joins in on our conversation, then Reba suggests that we head into the kitchen to get comfortable. I take Mama by the arm and lead her into the kitchen and get situated on the barstools around the island. I notice that Reba and Narvel aren't in here with us, but I let it slide. Mama and I make bets on the news that Reba is going to tell us. I bet adoption while Mama guesses that Shelby is engaged. When our talk slows and Reba still hasn't joined us in the kitchen, I decide to go and check on her. I walk into the living room to see Reba on top of Narvel already on second base. I decide to interrupt their kissing session by saying, "You've got company, so get off of each other and chat with us. You've got no time to get a room!" Reba jumped up and faced me, red in the face. It always embarrassed her when they got caught in action, but usually it was her idea to do it in the first place! She removed herself from Narvel, so I figured it was safe to walk away. I mumbled to myself, "They're gonna end up with a baby the same age as their granddaughter one day if they keep going at it like that." I hear Reba giggle, then enter the kitchen. Mama looks at me confused and I tell her, "No need to worry, they were just making out like newly-weds in the living room, AGAIN." Mama laughs and Reba, whose had was intertwined with Narvel's, enters the room to tell us the enticing news.
