The first thing Ruby felt upon waking up was pain. She took it as a good sign that she was still alive and groaned as she tried to sit up. Using her Aura, she noted only minor injuries that were rapidly taken care of. A groan came from beside her and she turned to see her girlfriend coming to, and immediately went to check on her.
"Weiss, are you okay!?" She asked.
"I officially hate trains..." The ex-heiress hissed as she slowly got herself up before noticing Ruby. "Nevermind me, are you okay!?"
"Just a few scrapes and bruises, nothing serious." Ruby replied. "Can you stand?"
Weiss didn't answer, instead getting up with the help of the Wolf Faunus in the process. She took a step forward, but suddenly lurched towards the floor of the car as she yelled in surprise and pain before Ruby caught her.
"Weiss!?" The Fall Maiden exclaimed in alarm.
"My leg." Weiss winced as she tested her left leg by putting some weight on it, wincing as she did. "I think it's broken."
Ruby rooted around the car for a bit after placing Weiss down on a bed before finding two metal rods that seemed stable enough for the job she needed them for. She tested them by trying to bend them, but when they didn't move, she smiled triumphantly before grabbing a sheet from the ruined mattress and tearing off strips of it. She looked at her girlfriend who nodded at her, before she got to work making a splint for her leg, tightening it as she finished a few minutes later, earning a hiss from Weiss as she did.
There." Ruby said. "That should keep your injury from getting worse until we reach Argus. Try standing for me?"
Reluctantly, Weiss did as her girlfriend told her, putting some weight on her injured leg, and though it was still painful to do so, she could walk on it for now, albeit with some difficulty.
The two exited the car, finding Yang and Blake checking themselves for injuries before spotting them. Yang brought Ruby into a bear hug, causing the Wolf Faunus to let out a painful yelp.
"Yang! Don't squeeze her so hard!" Weiss chastised. "She could have a cracked rib or two, you know!"
"If I didn't, I do now..." Ruby groaned as Yang let Ruby go.
"Are you okay?" Yang asked, fussing over Ruby like a mother would their child. "Are you hurt?"
"Aside from your hug, I'm fine." Ruby replied. "Weiss has a broken leg though. Where are Oscar and Silver?"
"Over here!" Oscar shouted, getting their attention. "Silver's hurt bad!"
"For the last time kid, I'm fine!" Silver groused. "Now stop fussing and pull me up."
"Are you crazy!?" Oscar exclaimed as Team RWBY arrived.
"How bad is it-oh my God, Silver!" Blake shouted in alarm. "What happened!?"
"I'm fine." Silver replied with a pained grunt. "Still, this isn't exactly ideal."
Currently, the Bat Faunus was impaled by a long metal pipe inches away from his right lung. A pool of blood spilled out from him as he tried to move and pick himself up, causing him to groan and wince as pain tore through his body.
"Silver, stop!" Yang shouted. "You'll bleed out if you-"
With a shout, Silver wrenched free from the pipe that had trapped him and walked forward before leaning on a nearby wall. Blood poured from his wound like water from a faucet and he looked at his team unbothered by what he had just done.
"Thanks for the help, guys." He said sarcastically. "I really appreciated the part where you all just stood there with that stupid look on your faces."
