Chapter 5

Hello! Heres chapter five! *waves to invisible followers because I have NONE.

"Where are you going?"

Kai asked when he saw Lloyd zipping up his suitcase and gathering his stray items.

"Oh, I'm moving in with Jay and Cole."

"That Jay guy is really your friend?"

Lloyd gave him a look.

"Yeah, so?"

Kai put his hands up.

"Ok, ok. Have fun, don't drug anyone."

Lloyd rolled his eyes as he left the door.

"Whatever that's supposed to mean."

He walked down the hall and over to room 244. Lloyd knocked on the door and Cole answered it immediately.

"Wow, you actually came."

He said, opening the door as wide as it would go so Lloyd and his colony of bags could fit through.

"Oh, hi Lloyd."

Jay and some Nya were sitting on the couch together, totally not cuddling.

"Nya, you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend."

Lloyd chuckled. The two of them went pink.

"Oh-we're not, it's not-heh."

Cole made a face.

"Just act like you don't see them, k? This will happen a lot."

Lloyd nodded.

"Uh, okay." 

Jay smiled at him and pointed at the door to the left.

"Glad you made it. Your room is the that one right there."

Lloyd nodded.

"Thanks..."

The room was smaller than he had expected, but at least it was his own. There was a RoKu TV in front of the bed, which was surprisingly king-sized. 

"Wow,"

Lloyd thought.

"They weren't kidding. It's pretty sweet."

He set his bag down by the bed and kicked off his shoes. This was ALOT better than his room shared with Kai. Lloyd wanted to ask Jay or Cole why but he didn't want to be hostile. Instead, he plopped down on the bed and closed his eyes.

                                                                 The next day...

Lloyd woke up to a faint voice behind the door. He opened it, but there was no one. The sound was coming from Jays room.

"I got this, I'm fine,"

Lloyd hardly heard Jay from behind the door. He was probably on a parents call, somethind Lloyd was glad he didn't have to deal with. He was going to leave when something kicked in. 

"Spy,"

His inner consciousness told him. When Lloyd was younger and Kai caught him spying, he would  always say.

"Someones using their ninja instincts."

Lloyd knew nothing good was going to be heard but stayed anyway.

"What, no, no, nohoho!"

He heard Jay laughing half-heartedly.

"No, I-I've got this. Not momentarily. No, not like last time. This will be executed smoothly. Do I need to remind you who I am?"

Lloyd listened intently as there was a buzzing/crackling sound on the other side of the door.

"Those guys? One: they aren't my fault, and two: they will be easy peasy to get rid of...yeah, ok gotcha. See youu laterr."

Lloyd got up slowly and turned around, only to face Cole.

"What are you doing again?"

Lloyd shot up.

"Oh, um, I was, I didn't know if Nya stayed for the night, y'know."

Cole chuckled.

"Very slick. Unfortunately for the two of them, her older brother came to pick her up."

Lloyd sighed.

"Yeah, Kai is a pretty protective brother. Take it from me."

Cole frowned.

"He's your brother? I don't see any facial similarities."

"It's a loong story..."
