I came out of the 'cell' or uh...room, I guess? And I walked back to the kitchen with my plate of food where I could already see his plate and half of the food had already disappeared. Seems like he liked my food more than I thought because I had never seen someone eat food that fast. Damn....
"I- uh... I already ate half, but we can still eat together." Silverclaw spoke up. He sat down on a chair in the kitchen island and resumed his meal. I sat one seat away from him since I don't know if he'll try to do something to me right then and there.
My own food tasted great; it has all the nutrients needed for a day after eating take out for two days. I can't believe that Silverclaw is very civil with me, breaking out of the cell he put me in and straight up cooking a decent meal for him. I could use this as my advantage... a deal of me cooking meals for him while he allows me to bathe, change, roam around... but no way he would allow that, right? Maybe if i negotiate him-
"Thanks for the food...it tastes better than the takeout I've been ordering" He suddenly spoke up again.
"Oh- uh- yeah, no problem..." Well, that felt awkward...maybe it's my time to go with the deal I have in mind. It could work. "So, because I've done something useful for a hostage, can I ask a favor?"
He stops himself mid-way from feeding himself and puts the spoon down. Takes a deep breath and sighs.
"If this favor does anything about you being released, it's not happening." He announced, then shoving the spoon to his mouth again.
"I knew you'd say that..." I muttered unamusingly. "I was thinking that you'd give me the essential things while I'm here like bathing, clothes..."
"No." He cut me off then drank his water. This dude seriously doesn't torture me yet won't provide what I need?? Unbelievable.
"Hey, I managed to give you something you couldn't do, now you gave me something I don't get." I retorted. He might have choked on his water when I pointed out that he couldn't cook because the next thing I see is his mouth, nose, and shirt wet.
"Don't speak of my inability to cook." He marked, taking several tissue papers to clean himself.
"I won't, unless you give me-"
"I will." He announced. Well, that was easy negotiation.
I couldn't believe he would fall that easily, but a deal is a deal anyways. I resumed my meal when I noticed he had finished his. I should've guessed he'll eat that fast. The silence between us was deafening, yet we both kept silent until he spoke up first.
"Since you've seen me without my mask now, I don't feel comfortable calling you 'my hostage'. What's your name?" He asked.
"My name is Nathan Woods. Nothing special about me." I answered.
He only nodded and turned away. I didn't expect him to tell me his name since he is the villain of this city. It would be the doom for him if he told me his na-
"I'm Blake Hudson." He interfered with my thoughts as he told me his name. Well, that isn't surprising, isn't it?
Wait...Hudson? The wealthiest Family known to be the most ruthless in economy but kind-hearted with people? No wonder he can build such machinery...that stuff is expensive!
"Blake...why did you tell me your name?" I questioned him, wondering why he would even tell me his name when I can just report him to the police.
"No one would believe you, plus my parents would bribe the governor to let me go." He answered. That's how rich the Hudson family is, too rich to call a thousand bucks spare change.
I guess I have my answer now. Silverclawーor Blake Hudsonーis the villain who destroys cities with his expensive machinery and can't cook. How wonderful to know that since it's useless to report him.
I finished up my plate and grabbed his before getting up, walking over to the sink to wash them.
"I expect you to allow me to take a bath and new clothes, I haven't changed since the day you kidnapped me" I announced.
"I only have one bathroom and no spare clothes." He mentioned.
"Too damn bad the deal had already been made, I don't care if there's only one bathroom in this large housing you have, and I don't care if you don't have spare clothes. I gave you what you need, and you give me what I need." I didn't mean to sound that demanding, but I am a man that stays true to my words, and if he doesn't, I might as well kick his butt while I'm here.
"Goddammit...fine, but with my own rules here if you want this to be fair." He proposed. Well of course I want things to be fair, Rich Boy.
"Deal." I could hear this seat screeching against the floor as he got up and walked to his room again. I'll take it as I have just won this argument, and I could finally take a bath! Yes!!
