5 years later
Abby climbed out of the pool and wrapped a towel around her waist. She sat down on the deck chair and stretched out her toes. This was total heaven, the best vacation so far. Costa Rica definitely had her vote. A waiter brought over a drink and she smiled.
“Gracias”
Abby sat back and sipped her drink. She watched as Clay climbed out of the pool. Oh god, his body was something to be marvelled at. She bit her lip and when he came close he bent over and kissed her.
“Mummy!”
Abby turned to her four year old son, “What is it Noah?”
“I want a cuddle”
She laughed and gave him a hug.
“Come on Daddy, swim with me.”
Clay gave Abby a look that showed he’d much rather stay with her, but he gave her another kiss and picked up Noah, amidst lots of happy squeals and went back into the pool.
Abby smiled, life couldn’t get much better than this.
