**Scene 6: The Stakes Rise**

**Location:** Suburban neighborhood, Sarah Coleman's home.
**Time:** Late Afternoon.

**[Sarah Coleman, a seasoned FBI agent, is sitting in her car, glancing at her watch. She’s moments away from picking up her two daughters from school, a routine that offers a brief respite from her demanding job. Her phone buzzes, and the number flashing on the screen is unmistakable—it's from the office. Sighing, she answers, her tone shifting from relaxed to professional.]**

**Agent Sarah Coleman:**
*"Coleman here."*

**[A tense voice on the other end, one of her colleagues, interrupts her.]**

**Colleague (on phone):**
*"Sarah, you need to get back to the office immediately. We’ve received another video from Mr. Black."*

**[Her heart skips a beat. She quickly ends the call and dials her husband, her voice calm but hurried.]**

**Agent Sarah Coleman:**
*"Hey, I need you to pick up the girls from school today. Something’s come up at work."*

**[Her husband, sensing the urgency, doesn’t ask questions. After the call, Sarah immediately turns the car around, heading towards the FBI field office. The once mundane drive now feels heavy, her mind racing with what could possibly be in that video.]**

---

**Location:** FBI Field Office, Command Center.
**Time:** 30 Minutes Later.

**[Sarah walks briskly into the command center. The atmosphere is thick with tension; every agent’s face is etched with a mixture of fear and determination. The large screen at the front of the room shows a paused news broadcast—a chaotic scene from a recent bombing in an unnamed Asian country, with the Black Clover symbol prominently displayed.]**

**Section Chief Mercer:**
*"Glad you could join us, Coleman. This just came in."*
*He gestures towards the screen, where the news broadcast resumes. The reporter's voice is grim, describing the aftermath of a massive explosion in a crowded market.*

**News Reporter (on screen):**
*"The death toll has now reached 3,000, with many more injured. Authorities have confirmed that the terrorist organization known as Black Clover has claimed responsibility for this horrific act."*

**[The room is silent as the broadcast continues, showing images of the devastation. Sarah’s jaw tightens, her eyes narrowing as she watches. Mercer steps forward, remote in hand, and pauses the broadcast. He then switches to another video—the latest from Mr. Black.]**

**Section Chief Mercer:**
*"This came directly to us, but it was also sent to the Chinese government. They’re understandably on edge, especially after what just happened. We need to stop this man before he escalates further."*

**[The video starts, revealing Mr. Black standing in front of an elementary school. His iconic look is still in place, but this time, his mask is different—a disturbingly cheerful bunny mask. In his arms, he holds a small boy, no older than six. The child’s face is innocent, unaware of the danger surrounding him.]**

**Mr. Black (on screen):**
*"Ah, children… the purest form of life. They bring so much joy, don’t they? And yet, when they leave this world… well, the sorrow they cause is even greater."*
*He strokes the child’s head, almost affectionately. The juxtaposition of his words and actions is chilling. He then speaks to the boy in Chinese, his voice soft, almost paternal.*
*"Smile for the uncles and aunties watching, little one."*

**[The boy, still unaware, gives a small, confused smile. The video cuts out abruptly, leaving the room in stunned silence. The agents exchange looks, a mixture of horror and anger etched on their faces.]**

**Agent Daniel Briggs:**
*"This bastard… he’s escalating. He’s not just after casualties anymore; he’s going for pure psychological terror."*

**Agent Sarah Coleman:**
*"That school—do we have any intel on its location? We need to figure out where he filmed this and if there’s any immediate threat to the kids."*

**[Mercer nods, already issuing orders to the tech team.]**

**Section Chief Mercer:**
*"I want this video analyzed frame by frame. Look for anything that could give away his location—background noise, specific landmarks, anything. We need to move fast. Briggs, coordinate with the Chinese government and see what they’ve got on this school. Coleman, I want you to liaise with the Behavioral Analysis Unit; we need a profile update ASAP. Black’s shifting his tactics, and we need to keep up."*

**[Sarah nods, already mentally preparing herself for the task ahead. The stakes have never been higher. As she starts to walk away, her phone buzzes again—this time, it's a notification of another email received directly from Mr. Black. She hesitates, then quickly opens it.]**

**[The email contains another video file, shorter than the last. She plays it immediately, knowing it could contain crucial information. The screen lights up with Mr. Black’s masked face once more, this time with the school in the background, but now there are no children visible.]**

**Mr. Black (on screen):**
*"You know, I always did have a soft spot for the little ones. But don’t worry—I’m not a monster. No harm will come to these children… for now. Just remember, the clock is ticking, and the next time, I might not be so generous. Oh, and don’t bother looking for this school—it’s in a location you’ll never reach in time."*
*He pauses, the playful tone in his voice gone, replaced with something far more sinister.*
*"But here’s a clue for the next target—sometimes, the past holds the key to the future. I suggest you look into your own history, FBI. It might save you some lives."*

**[The video ends abruptly, leaving everyone in the room stunned. Sarah feels a cold sweat form on her brow as the implications of Mr. Black’s words sink in.]**

**Section Chief Mercer:**
*"Everyone, you heard the man. I want a full historical analysis of past FBI cases that might be relevant. This psychopath is playing with us, and we can’t afford to let him win."*

**[As the agents scramble into action, Sarah feels a deep sense of foreboding. Mr. Black is not just a terrorist—he’s a master manipulator, and the game he’s playing is far from over.]**
