**[INT. INTERROGATION ROOM - NIGHT]**
**Agent Briggs**: *[Leaning forward, his voice firm but controlled]* Mr. Black, we have sufficient evidence to prove your crimes. What we don’t understand is your motivation. Why would you turn yourself in now?
**Agent Coleman**: *[Her tone is measured, but there's an edge to it]* You're on the FBI's Most Wanted list, hunted in eight countries—excluding the United States.
**Mr. Black**: *[Casually leans back in his chair, eyes glinting with amusement]* I'm well aware of my identity, Agent Coleman. The real question is, what do you want to know?
**Agent Briggs**: *[Exchanges a glance with Coleman before continuing]* As my partner said, we're interested in your motivations. Why did you commit these crimes, and why surrender now?
**Agent Coleman**: *[Leaning in, her eyes narrowing]* You single-handedly caused the economic collapse of three countries. You orchestrated bombings at world heritage sites, leading to the deaths of over 14 million people. You’re the leader of Black Clover, a terrorist organization that even China, Britain, and Russia couldn’t dismantle. Why now? Why turn yourself in?
**Mr. Black**: *[A smile plays on his lips as he interrupts]* First of all, Sarah—may I call you Sarah? I noticed your id card. *[He pauses, enjoying the shift in her expression]* As I said, there's no need to remind me of my identity. And just to be accurate, it was 14 million, 759 thousand deaths—not quite 15 million, unfortunately.
*Agent Coleman's jaw clenches, but she doesn’t respond.*
**Mr. Black**: *[Leans forward slightly, his tone suddenly serious]* Now, to your question. Let me tell you a story.
*The room seems to darken as Mr. Black begins speaking, his voice taking on a chillingly calm tone.*
**Mr. Black**: Once upon a time, there was a boy in high school. He was poor, and one day, he accidentally spilled hot coffee on the school’s prince—the son of the richest man in town. The prince’s followers decided to teach the boy a lesson. They dragged him to the assembly hall and beat him in front of everyone. The teachers, the students—they all just watched. The boy was angry but powerless. Instead of punishing the bullies, the school expelled him. His only relative, his grandmother, couldn’t bear the shame. She died shortly after.
*Agent Coleman's expression softens, almost pitying.*
**Agent Coleman**: *[Gently]* That’s a tragic story, but being bullied doesn’t justify—
**Mr. Black**: *[Cuts her off sharply]* Who said anything about being bullied?
*There’s a pause, the tension in the room thickening.*
**Agent Briggs**: *[Confused]* You just described—
**Mr. Black**: *[Interrupts again, smiling coldly]* I never said I was bullied. I was the prince in the story.
*The agents exchange uneasy glances, realizing the gravity of what they’re dealing with.*
**Agent Briggs**: *[Cautiously]* Then why…?
**Mr. Black**: *[Eyes gleaming with a twisted sense of satisfaction]* As a child, I had no purpose. Life was boring. Everything came too easily, felt dry—empty. But that day, watching that boy’s life unravel because of me, seeing the rage and helplessness in his eyes... It was exhilarating. It gave me a thrill nothing else ever could. I found my purpose. If one person’s misery could bring me such joy, imagine what a thousand—no, a million—could do.
*The room is silent, the air thick with disbelief.*
**Agent Coleman**: *[Barely containing her anger]* You ruined millions of lives because you were bored? That’s... insane.
**Mr. Black**: *[Smirks, leaning back in his chair]* I prefer the term *neurodivergent*. It has a nice ring to it.
