My eyes fall on the big bold glowing letters in neon written "Oscurita Nightclub" The music inside was so loud that it could be heard even outside of the club, the strobe lights glowing brightly. A ripple of discomfort coiled in my chest reading the name.

"Who names their club Oscurita".

"Why? What's wrong" Bella asked from my side.

"Nothing, it's just...it's weird"

"The owner of the club is Italian, so I guess its Italian" James says reading the name, his hand joined with Juls.

"Elena knows a bit Italian since her father is Italian" Julie perked looking at me "Do you know what it means Ell"

"Darkness" I mumbled more to myself rather than others and heard James chuckle hearing me.

"What else could you expect someone to name their club Elena, Light. It's a fucking nightclub" James snickered shaking his head.

"I don't know it's just...is this the only place you found in the whole city Jul" I said instead cutting my previous sentence in mid, I don't know but the place was giving me uneasy vibes.

"This is not some ordinary club Ell, only opulent of high classes could manage to afford here but luckily, they allowed locals on Friday and Saturdays on weekends so here we are, and with no doubt it's the best club at the periphery of city. Now don't you complain and stop making that face, we are here to enjoy so just lose yourself a bit" Julie rejuvenate dragging me along with her.

We waited for a while outside the club and soon Ava and Chris joined us. Everybody was laughing, cracking funny jokes and everything even seems fine but to me the gut-wrenching feeling keep growing. If it wouldn't be of Julie, I would've never agreed to come to such packed place. We showed our Ids and after paying the cover fees entered inside.

As soon as I stepped in a gush of fear rushed through me. I didn't understand what was wrong with me, it was just a club, we were here for party, I tried to brush the feeling off, maybe it was dad's conversation from earlier or either it's just me thinking way too much.

We passed through the crowd and as more our steps took us in the more my anxiety peaked, and I clenched Bellas hand tightly shifting close to her who was quick to sense my uneasiness.

"What happened Ell? You alright" She whispered close to my ear between the loud music, and I shook my head in nothing giving her a forced but tight smile losing my grip.

At least it was a bit better outside where one could breathe but then again no one came to clubs to breath in fact the opposite. Inside it was thronged and felt like someone left the animals tied to strings together. Loud rock music fills the air accompanied by people screaming to take over, everywhere there was darkness just like the name suggests, only the neon lights were way to show something in the dark. Glass breaking, whistling and DJ add to the Noice. Smell of toxication, alcohol and zeal circumambulated in air making everyone feeling gaiety.

I think that's why people came to clubs, to feel free and that's also the reason I hate parties and club because I love to remain busy.

Instead of the crowd dancing on the floor, and the congested people, above was the glass railings all around with tables and sofas lying there filled with most of suit carrying people, skimpy dressed waitresses serving drinks to them. Dim neon lightening illuminating that area unlike the darkness below. The section seems like booked for special VIP guests since Julie told this club is for high elite classes.

We pushed over selves through the squeezing crowd to the bar section, which was busy, with people ordering drinks like martins, coolers and guzzling different types of shots after shots losing themselves from the reality to the fake toxication of alcohol.
