I slammed the snooze button for my alarm on my nightstand for the third time that morning. "It's too early for this crap." I grumbled to myself as I shoved the covers off of my body. I flung my feet over the side of the bed and rubbed my eyes. " Another day in Hell. "

I made my way to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I stood under the water and thought of what Alice had in store for me today. Last Monday I had accidentally bumped into Alice in the school cafeteria and knocked her tray into her. It left a huge spaghetti sauce stain on her white shirt. Today was Friday and she was bound to get me back any day now.

When I finished with my shower I went to my closet and picked out some black leggings and a black tank top. I threw a red and white plaid shirt over it and finished off the look with a white belt and a pair of maroon converse.

"This' ll do." I thought as I tied my shoes.

I put my hair in a quick braid before I made my way downstairs for breakfast.

"Please!" My little sister pleaded for me to make her another pancake. She'd already eaten two and I needed to leave for school.

"Sorry, Molly. Maybe tomorrow." I said and patted her on the head. She crossed her arms and stuck her bottom lip out. This was her attempt to show that she was mad but she looked so adorable.

"I'm sorry. I have to go."
I explained with a look of pity in my eyes.

I bent down and gave her a quick kiss on the top of her head.

"Bye, Mom! Bye, Molly!" I shouted when I walked out my front door.

While I walked to school I played with my fingers trying not to run back home and hide under my bed. The more I thought of Alice the shakier my hands got and my palms started sweating. There was no way I would go unharmed after Monday's incident.
I let out a quiet sigh when I reached the school. When I got inside I immediately ran to my locker and when I say ran, I mean I literally ran. I tried carefully to not bump into anybody and let out a sigh of relief once I finally reached my locker.

I struggled with the dial as I turned the lock on my locker. To anyone who noticed was probably thinking I just robbed Starbucks. I rushed to grab my books and slammed my locker so fast I almost smashed my fingers in the process.

I honestly didnt care if I was 10 minutes early for first period. I just wanted to get the hell out of the crowded hall and out of Alice's sight. I jogged to Mrs. Browns class.

When I walked in it was empty. You know your pathetic when you arrive before everyone including the teacher.

I rolled my eyes and took my normal seat in the very back corner where nobody paid any attention.

Slowly, people began to occupy the remaining seats. One student walked in and caught my eye. Mason. He was the last one to cone in with his friend, Sam. Mason wore black jeans with holes ripped in the knees, a black T-shirt that showed under his black leather jacket and was decorated with spike on the shoulders. And to top it off, he wore black combat boots. His skin looked very pale against his dark clothing.

When him and Sam entered the class, they laughed as if someone just made a secretive joke. Making his mahogany brown eyes squint and bright white teeth shine.

Mrs. Brown walked in, finally breaking my concentration on the boys.

"Please take your seats, everyone." She said, obviously referring to Mason and Sam since they were the only ones standing.

Mason cut his eyes at the teacher and made his way to the back in the opposite corner that I sat. His friend followed behind and sat next to him. He flung his feet up on his desk, making me flinch.
