CHAPTER SIX

We're having a baby girl Freddie announced.

Congratulations you're going to be a girl dad Spencer said.

Oh wow wonderful Marisa cheers.

Freddie why did you reveal the gender Carly snapped.

I wanted it to do a whole gender reveal party Carly said as she was disappointed.

We've known it was a girl for two weeks now Freddie snapped.

The room started to feel awkward as tension built up between Carly and Freddie.

Did You reveal the gender because you don't want baby Shay to wear this jacket Carly asked as she demanded answers.

Everyone started leaving as there was tension.

After people left their was silence amongst Carly and Freddie.

I'm very disappointed in you Freddie Carly said in a somber tone.

Freddie looks down at the floor ignoring Carly.

The jacket is such a sweet jester from Sam and that's really rare Carly mentioned.

I know, don't trust her Freddie admits.

What do you think she's going to do to our baby Carly asked?

The thing is I have no idea. The jacket is really cute I like it I just don't trust Sam. Why would she do this Freddie asked?

Who cares what the reason is it's a nice jester Carly said as she looked at it.

I'm sorry, I guess I just got stuck in the past again Freddie said as he put his hands in his pockets and rocked on his heels.

You know you, have been doing so much better lately. I'm still very proud of you normally things would've escalated but you managed to calm yourself down to tell me what was bothering you Carly said.

Thanks Freddie said as he smirked.

You still need work on the self sabotaging Carly explained.

Freddie chuckled and said I'll keep working on it.

Anyway, it's getting late we both should be going to bed Carly said as she kissed Freddie on the cheek. Carly set the jacket on the side of the couch and went to bed.

I'm going to stay up for a bit and put the food away Freddie said as he watched Carly walk to the bedroom.

Sounds good dear anyway good night Freddie Carly said,

Freddie smirked as she walked out of distance from him.

Good night Carly he says softly. Later on Freddie started packing up some of the leftover food. As he was gathering things up he couldn't help but look at the tiny red biker jacket sitting on the overhead of the couch. He took a break from packing food to look at the jacket. He grabbed it off the couch and sat down. As he was looking at it he could feel their was something in one of the pockets. So he pulled it out and it was a letter addressed to both him and Carly.

Freddie took a deep breath and opened the letter.

The actual letter was addressed to Carly.

Dear,Carls and Freddie. I was riding through Vegas and stopped at a bike shop. When I received the notification that you and Freddie were having a baby. Creddie fans will be happy to know that you two are truly end game. Honestly so am I— I'm not cut out to be a mother so I was hoping I'd be the fun auntie? Well if that's okay with Freddie that is? So, as I entered the bike shop I came upon this tiny little baby biker jacket and thought it would be the perfect gift for the new bundle of poop. Since all babies do is eat, sleep and poop.

Anyway, if you or Freddie don't want it that's fine just send it to a pregnancy center.

Ps. Freddie I know we haven't seen eye to eye but there's a very small portion of me, that really does care about you. Carly told me everything that's been going on with you and I'm sorry. You don't have to forgive me. I completely understand but I just wanted to tell you that I am truly sorry for hurting you. I was just a dumb kid with zero emotional regulation skills. Anyway, enough excuses congratulations on becoming a dad. You'll be an amazing father.

Fred's cried after reading Sam's meaningful letter. Sam isn't the one to express her emotions other than anger. So the fact that she would send a handwritten letter to him Carly meant a lot. It felt like he had gotten some closure. Carly wakes up as she hears Freddie sobbing so she goes out into the living room.
