Chapter 1 - Tessie's secret revealed

14-year-old Tessie was sitting in her room when Thor walked in. "Hi Dad," Thor smiled and sat on her bed, she put her journal down. "I have something to tell you," "I do too," Thor was in shock, "Well then you first.'' Tessie hesitated, then blurted out, "I have a boyfriend," Thor was in shock, he had so many questions, "Before I ask you questions, I have to tell you something." Tessie sat on the bed beside him, "I have been proud of how you're keeping up with school and extracurricular activities, but I know Life is hard right now." Tessie smiled, "Now, who's this boyfriend of yours," Tessie smiled, "His name's Tanner George Henderson, He's in the class behind me." Thor smiled, "You're in 10th grade, so he's in 9th," Tessie nodded. "How did it all start," Tessie's smile faded, she hated talking about how it started, "Well-uhh-I uhh," she stumbled. "It's alright," Thor soothed, "I won't be mad," Tessie sighed, "Well, it started when he made the football team in high school, I was on the cheer squad, as you know. I am a flyer, and as I was tossed in the air, they missed the catch, and Tanner noticed. He ran over to me, helped me up, and asked if I was okay.' Silence then Tessie laughed, "He also asked me if I was single," Thor smiled and chuckled, "He asked if you were single," Tessie nodded, 'Well that was nice of him to help you up, he seems like a nice guy, I approve." Tessie's eyes widened in shock, "Really," Thor nodded and Tessie threw her arms around him. What did you have to tell me," Tessie asked, "Well," Thor started, "You're moving in with me at the compound." "On Earth," Tessie was excited, Thor smiled and nodded, "I had all your stuff packed up and taken to the compound already." A few days later Thor woke Tessie up and got her ready for Earth, Tessie was about to put on her usual dress, but Thor stopped her. "Wear this," he said, handing her earth clothes, Tessie's face lit up as she put them on. Then they left and a couple hours later, arrived in front of the compound, Tessie started getting nervous. "It's alright they're very friendly," Thor reassured her, inside Tessie stayed near Thor, holding onto his arm. "Did you tell them I'm coming," she nervously asked, Thor answered by nodding, then the team walked in. The first on to walk in was Nat, when Tessie saw her she was excited, Nat smiled as everyone walked in. "Look," someone said, "a mini Thor," Tessie smiled, "Hi I'm Theresa but I go by Tessie." Thor proudly put his hand on her back. "Hi Tessie, I'm Tony, this is Steve," Steve waved, "and Clint," Clint waved too. "I'm Wanda," "and I'm Natasha but go by Nat." Tessie heard something and turned to see someone in the kitchen, " hello I'm Pietro, Wanda's twin brother," There was a voice from the doorway, "and I'm Dr. Banner, or Bruce," Tessie waved, and then Thor spoke. "I  wanted her here with me because, Tessie you want to cover your ears." Tessie knew and covered her ears as Thor spoke, "My dad treated her like his slave when I wasn't there, and she'd always cry." "That's awful," Nat was disgusted, so was Wanda, Steve, Bruce, Pietro, and Clint. Tony was pissed, and Thor tapped Tessie's shoulder letting her know she could uncover her ears. When she did Nat put her arms around Tessie, and whispered,  "you're safe here you can do anything you want and not be scared about what might happen."
