POV Richard:

I scroll through the files on James' computer and smile to myself, Logan and Lizzy's dossiers are updated every day or so, it certainly hasn't escaped James' attention that Lizzy works from home a lot and that Logan is always worried about her and doesn't have his head in the game. I give Dominic all the information I have gathered this week. He asks when the first upcoming race is and I answer that we have Holland on the schedule for the upcoming race, Thursday is media day so everyone will leave no later than Wednesday. Dominic asks if I will keep him updated on the changes with Logan and Lizzy and that he might have another idea to scare them a little. I think it's okay, but it shouldn't cost lives, I let him know clearly, I've known him longer than today and once he gets something in his head, it could turn out wrong.

All week I keep an eye on all the information James puts on his computer, I see that he has doubts about letting Logan finish the season and that he still wants to work with Lizzy. James has a folder on his computer where he keeps a sort of diary of the days he is in the office, which contains a lot of useful information that he could leak to the media for a pretty penny if necessary. Dominic has stopped sending emails to James to make him think that the program on his computer is actually working.

I haven't seen Lizzy myself for a few days, but when we get to Holland, she won't be able to avoid me so easily. With my bags packed, I stand at the gate of my plane, letting Dominic know before boarding that I am on my way and that I am temporarily out of range. I am still very curious about his idea.

POV Logan:

With some difficulty, I got Lizzy to come with us to Holland. Lily dragged her out of her office to have a girl's day so she could maybe relax and talk to her, and thankfully she did. Lily told me that Lizzy wants to be a burden to me, which she's not at all, and I've been trying to make that clear to her for the past few weeks, but she won't let me. I arranged a surprise for her in our hotel room today and I hope she likes it and sees that I don't see her as a burden. I know she has a hard time right now and that she has a lot of work to do with the designs that James expects her to do, but she should not get ahead of herself.

Our flight fortunately does not take very long and we land in Holland before nightfall, the weather is quite nice here, especially if I believe Alex's stories that it can often rain at this time of year. We go to our hotel and check in, have our luggage taken to our rooms and then go out for dinner. "Lizzy, how quiet you are today, did you sleep well?" Lily asks her during dinner, Lizzy playing somewhat absentmindedly with the peas on her plate. "Lizzy?" I touch her hand lightly and she flinches. "Sorry, did you say something?" I shake my head and Lily repeats her question. "I've hardly been sleeping lately, every time I fall asleep I dream the strangest things, last night I dreamt that something was going to go wrong with Logan's car this weekend and he was going to crash and break his wrist." "Don't worry dear, I promised you I would be careful anyway." Lizzy tells of a few more of her dreams, each one sounding terrible and always ending with someone breaking something or almost dying. Fortunately, Alex manages to turn the mood around after a while and starts talking about the atmosphere at the track, how Holland always manages to make it a party despite the fact that it can sometimes rain for hours. Holland is known for its stroopwafels, which the fans are only too happy to share with us. Frankly, I can't wait to be a part of that experience myself.

After dinner I take Lizzy to our hotel room, Alex and Lily went for a walk, but Lizzy would not have lasted that long and dozed off during dinner. When we get to the room, Lizzy falls onto the bed with a sigh. "Liz? Are you really okay? I'm worried about you." She sits up straight and I can see that she is fighting not to cry. "I'm so tired Logan, I want to sleep so badly, but I don't dare close my eyes anymore because I'm afraid of everything that happens in my dreams. I also don't want to bother you anymore so late in the evening, so I'll just keep working, I'm already 5 weeks ahead and I've already worked out all the designs that James asked for, I just haven't been able to find the time to come to the office yet". "Is this about Richard?" She nods. "Believe me Liz, I don't trust him either." She gets up from the bed and grabs her suitcase. "I'm going to take a shower." Before she has a chance to open her suitcase, I grab her hand and pull her to me. I hug her and feel her shoulders shake. "Shh, honey, it's going to be okay." I try to comfort her and slowly notice that she calms down a bit, then I remember that I have still have a surprise for her. "Wait, I have something for you!" I let her go and start looking in my own suitcase. Somewhere at the bottom I find a black box with a red ribbon around it, which has shifted a little from all the stuff that was on it. "Here for you." I hand her the box and she takes it with a questioning look. She takes off the ribbon and opens the box. Inside is a gold chain with LS engraved on the front and my driver's number on the back. "Logan, how beautiful!" I see her eyes sparkle for the first time in a long time. "Shall I put it on when you're done showering?" She nods and gets ready to take a shower.
