"Jimin, can I look at her from afar? I promise I won't let her notice me. She won't mind it, right?" Jungkook looked at Jimin with pleading eyes.

Jimin placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder and said, "Didn't you want Cheryl to give you a divorce? Didn't you wanted her to be happy without you? Didn't you wanted to be separate from her? Then why are you in so much pain just to catch a glimpse of her?"

"I don't know... I... I just.... don't know," Jungkook folded his hands in front of Jimin, "Please, Jimin, help me... just once... please."

Jimin held his hands and lowered them, saying, "Look at yourself jungkook, let's go home first. We'll talk about it later"

After they reached Jungkook's apartment, Jimin parked the car. He said as they got out,"Go first; someone is waiting for you in there."

Jungkook understood what he's trying to say. Without wasting a second, he rushed towards his apartment. When he opened the door, he saw Cheryl standing in front of him.
Their eyes met, silently observing each other. The surroundings were filled with pin-drop silence, only broken by the sound of Jungkook's heavy breath. But it wasn't just a sound for her; it was like a melody—the melody she had yearned to hear until now. For which she had been praying.

Without speaking, thousands of words were exchanged. It was as if they had their own language. His gaze alone was enough to make her feel alive again after all those sleepless nights. She couldn't understand what she felt, but it was something special—something like she had won the whole world, something rare.... something precious. When he walked closer to her, all her fears and worries vanished. She felt somewhat relieved. He tried to speak, but he couldn't. He opened his mouth several times but stopped. In the end, he somehow managed to say, "Cheryl... I'm sorry."

She ran towards him, enclosing him in her arms, not wanting to ever let him go. Just a glimpse of her was enough to weaken him, but the feeling when she wrapped her arms around him, her warmth, and the sound of her heartbeat were something else. He felt like his soul left his body. He never knew the worth of a single hug until now. Maybe this is what we call love?Their love triumphed at that moment, leaving all emotions behind. Deep down, he felt it wasn't fair—wasn't fair because he thought he didn't deserve her hug, but he wanted to be selfish for once. It was something like if she left him, he would die.

He was living through her instead of loving her. He felt heaven in her arms as he eventually melted in her embrace. He had been mentally and physically exhausted for too long that he couldn't keep himself sane in her presence. Those emotions were too hard to handle. Overwhelmed, he passed out in her arms. When she felt the full weight of his body on her, she realized he was unconscious. She tried to prevent him from collapsing and yelled, "JUNGKOOK," to wake him up, but it didn't work.
