Bangkok, Present Day

Fahlada lean back in her Rolls-Royce Wraith, her gaze sharp as she watches the chaos outside. Motorbikes weave through the traffic while P'Chai, her driver, remains silent but attentive.

"The city never stops, does it, P'Chai?" Lada sighs.

P'Chai glances at Lada through the rearview mirror. "No, Lada. It moves at its own pace. But you... you always seem calm in the middle of it."

Lada smirks. "Calm... or numb? Sometimes I wonder. I've got a board meeting at 9, lunch with investors at noon, and dinner at 7. Between that, there's the usual... obligations."

She runs her fingers over the leather-bound planner in her lap, her gaze momentarily distant.

"Today feels different," she continues. "Heavier. Like everything's pulling me under. Maybe I'm losing my grip."

P'Chai's voice is soft but reassuring. "You've always held things together, Lada. No matter what."

Lada's eyes narrow at the busy streets. "I wonder if Narin feels the same. She sent me a drawing from school today. Three figures. Me, her... and something else. A shadow."

She pulls out her phone, showing P'Chai the crayon drawing.

"I've tried to be both mother and father to her," Lada says, her tone tinged with uncertainty. "But sometimes I question if I'm enough. She's growing up so fast P'Chai, asking questions I don't have answers to."

P'Chai's voice is gentle. "Kids have a way of seeing things we don't, Lada."

Lada's sigh is heavy. "Yeah, they do. But I wish she didn't. I can't change the past. Her father left without a word."

P'Chai reassures her. "Narin's lucky to have you. You're stronger than you think."

Lada nods slowly. "Maybe. But there's more than just Narin to worry about. There's another side to my life, a side that could unravel everything if I'm not careful."

The car comes to a stop outside her office building. Lada straightens up, takes a deep breath, and steps out, her heels clicking decisively on the pavement.

The lights are bright as Earn stands in front of the camera, her smile dazzling as the photographer snaps the last few shots.

"Perfect! Hold that pose, Earn! Just one more, and we're done!" the photographer exclaims excitedly.

Earn strikes one final pose, winking playfully at the camera, before stepping off the set with a deep breath.

"Finally," she smirks.

Her manager, Nook, approaches with a grin, holding up her phone. "Great job today, Earn! Oh yes, the agency just called. You've been invited to a charity gala next week."
