Earn was at her mirror, adjusting her blouse. Her day was jam-packed-a photo shoot, a meeting with her agency, and dinner with Nook. Yet, her mind kept drifting to the gala next week. It was more than just an event; it was a chance to be in the same room as Fahlada Worachai.

Thinking about Fahlada made her pause. She had done her homework. Fahlada is enigmatic, poised, and seemingly untouchable. Earn had seen her in magazines, heard her name in whispers, and watched interviews where she revealed just enough to intrigue but nothing more. There was a magnetic pull about her, something that drew Earn in.

Her phone buzzed. It was Nook.

"Ready for today?" Nook's cheerful voice came through.

"Ready as ever," Earn replied, smiling. "What's on the agenda, P'Nook?"

"We've got the shoot at noon. And don't forget about dinner tonight. Some producers will be there. This could be your big break."

Earn's stomach fluttered with excitement. "I'll be there. I promise."

"And the gala next week-don't forget. I've got your dress sorted. You'll look stunning."

Earn chuckled. "I'll take your word for it."

After hanging up, Earn took one last look in the mirror. The woman staring back was confident and ready. But deep down, she felt the weight of her responsibilities. Her family depended on her. Failure wasn't an option.

As she grabbed her bag and headed out, a thought lingered. What would it be like to meet someone like Fahlada Worachai? Someone who seemed to have it all. What did a woman like her want? Need? And why am I so captivated by the mystery surrounding her?

Fahlada's heels echoed off the marble floors as she strode through the lobby of Worachai Imperial Group's headquarters. Employees moved out of her way, offering respectful nods and hurried greetings as she passed. She nodded back, her expression unreadable.

Once inside her office-a modern sanctuary of glass and steel, commanding a panoramic view of the cityscape below-Fahlada took a moment to breathe.

Fahlada's office design was sleek and sophisticated, reflecting her refined taste and the power she wielded.

The color scheme was a harmonious blend of cool, neutral tones-soft greys, lilac-Narin's favourite colour, and deep navy blues. The walls were adorned with understated art pieces that added a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space. The flooring was a rich, dark hardwood that contrasted subtly with the lighter hues of the room.

Fahlada had a particular obsession for leather, which was evident throughout her office. Her large, glossy mahogany desk, though elegant, was complemented by deep navy leather accents. The high-backed, ergonomic leather chair behind the desk was chosen for both its comfort and its commanding presence, with its supple leather exuding a sense of luxury and durability.

In front of the desk, a sleek, glass-topped meeting table was surrounded by minimalist chairs with silver frames and navy upholstery, also featuring leather seats. This space was used for discussions and briefings, its leather detailing adding a touch of sophistication while maintaining functionality.

A low, contemporary console cabinet along one wall housed neatly arranged files and a selection of high-end office supplies. Above it, a series of abstract art pieces in shades of grey and blue added a touch of sophistication without dominating the space.

Floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the office, allowing natural light to flood in and providing a breathtaking view of the city. Elegant sheer curtains in a soft, neutral tone could be drawn for privacy or to modulate the light.
