It's been a few days since Shane was admitted to the clinic. I had decided to take two weeks off from work in the mean time. Shane has been in good spirits despite being in a ton of pain. The Dark angels ( his new besties and guards) and him have gotten very close in the last few days.
I had asked Viper if he could stop by my house and grab Shane's things from the attic. So he's happy to have his IPhone , IPad and game consoles back. Az and Za have been playing pretty much every game under the sun with him to keep him busy. Shane has somehow figured out how to use a game controller with a broken arm and not be total trash.
There is also Gracie who visits as much as she can it seems. They are also texting each other nonstop. You can always tell when they're talking cause Shane is usually blushing. It's honestly the funniest thing to see him have a crush on someone. I can't believe how fast he grew up.
I'm pretty sure he's getting sick of me though. I've only left his side to shower , change and sleep. He hasn't said anything but I can feel it. Shane has always had a ton of respect for me as I'm the one who stepped up and raised him. So he finds it hard to do anything he think will hurt my feelings . Like telling me to get the fuck out and leave him alone.
I'm just really struggling with what happened, maybe this wouldn't have happened if I had just talked to him that night about the robbery . Instead I basically took away all his freedom and refused to hear boo about it. Fuck! I really screwed this up. I sigh and Shane looks over , it's one of those rare times where it's just us in the room.

" I spoke to the vet earlier" he nods in response letting me know he's listening. " she said Whiskey can be discharged, the swelling has come down and he realizes he can't walk on the leg so he's been basically hopping around. But she said he's been a little depressed. That's why she discharging him. Viper just went to pick him up."
Shane picks up his phone and typed out a message before sending it to me " can he stay here with me?" I smile sadly at him but nod softly " yes , we think it's best he's here since Viper's dogs are at the house . He'd just want to play if he saw them."
