Where is water...THIRD PERSON POV:
Hawks very slowly half-opened his eyes, tiredly staring of at nothing. Then he closed them again... He tried to clear his throat, but could not even manage a gulp. It was too painful. His eyes slowly blinked open and then shut again... they felt very heavy. Hawks noticed the hard cold surface beneath him just as his hand slightly moved. He must be on the floor? But then... why does he feel something warm over him?
Hawks attempted to open his eyes again, this time focusing to keep them open. He is... over a toilette bowl? At first he is a bit confused, but as soon as the scratching pain from his throat bothered him again he understood why he was sitting there. The night before... he had never in his life experiences that type of pain before. He had gotten used to the cuts, the hits and the bruises, but this was an entirely new type of hurt. One that made him feel so weak... just as weak as he was... being a child, in a broken home.
He sort of snapped out of his thinking when his sence of smell finally returned. He was overtop a toilet bowl, with everything he had to eat the last 2 days, before him. He quickly tried to sit up straight, but his fatigued body struggled. Was it the warm, but heavy object ontop of him? He turned his head to look at "the object"
It was just a huge blanket. He was covered in it. Those huge, weighted blankets you find in hotels, but this one came from the bed Dabi and Hawks slept in... or well... tried to sleep in. But then Hawks thought, "how did this get on me? Did hé put this over me while i was sick? But... what did he sleep under? This was the only blanket we could find..."
Hawks slowly, and painfully, turned his head toward the bedroom. "Where is Dabi then?" Hawks tried to anchor himself with his arms, and attempted to stand up. But he instantly fell to the floor and hit his face on the tiles. His legs were still extremely numb from sitting on them all night long. The pins and needles were causing an overwhelming shooting pain, and with every slight movement, it worsened. All Hawks could do was slowly and painfully stretch his legs out and lie on the floor in defeat, waiting for the throbbing go away.
After a while, the pain had died down and he attempted to stand up again. With a lot of caution and with the help of the counter tops, he got to his feet. Wobbling, but up. He could feel his body did not have much left, so he took it very easy. Just as he was about to walk out the bathroom, he looked back at the blacket, but then realised he would not be able to carry it with him, so he left it there and walked out.
Hawks entered the bedroom, swaying from side to side untill he finally placed himself against a door frame for support. As he breathed in heavily he felt what could only be discribed as a spiked ball in his throat. He tried to swallow his own saliva just to ease the pain, but even that did not make a dent. He tried to take a step forward again, looking around him to see if he can see any sign of Dabi.
Dabi was no where in the bedroom, so Hawks started staggering through the hallway, all the way to the front of the house. But, no Dabi. Hawks weakly cleared his dry, itching throat again, and tried to call out to Dabi. But, there was no answer. With cracked lips, he made a groan and fell down onto the couch. His eyes slowly panned his surroundings again, trying to find any clues. But, unfortunately there were none... The hero, was all alone again... Dabi ran.
As the sun started to dance on the horison, Hawks knew night was fast approaching, and the coldness that came with it. A breeze through a crack in the wall reminded him of this fact, and prompted him to stand up and slowly make his way back to the bedroom. He knew there was no water in the house, and he knew he is dangerously dehydrated, but what could he do... he barely had the energy to walk to the bed. He would not be able to walk out, find water and come back before dark and icy outside.
Just as he was about to go lie down on the bed, he remembered that the blanket was still on the bathroom floor. So he groaned in defeat and made his way to the bathroom, pick up the end of the blanket, and dragged it accros the dusty floor over to the bed. With a lot of effort, he managed to climb into the bed and cover himself with the blanket. He curled up in a ball, holding his stomach, that still ached due to the night before, and probably also the fact that it was completely empty. As he laid there, cold and hungry, the events of the night before began playing in his mind.
He remembered feeling overwhelmingly nauseous, almost weak. He remembered his legs almost turning numb. He remembered him falling to the icy hard floor... and then a warmth. From that beautiful blue light. Hawks did not want to admit thos, but he know that was Dabi...
He also, remembered being picked up asif he weighed nothing, and was rushed to, presumably the bathroom. He remembered being place down very lightly on the floor, right infront of the toilet. As all the contents of his stomach started to present itself, he remembered looking at the bathroom door one last time... seeing Dabi looking out at something, then turning his head to look at Hawks again... with an odd expression... what was that expression... was that... a grin?? Did Hawks see wrong... just as he started processing it that night, Dabi walked away... and he remembered himself trying to call out... but failing due to his current situation. He remembered... feeling just like he felt at that current moment.
Alone.
And just like the night before... he drifted in unconsciousness, with a single tear escaping from his eye, leaving a wet stain over his cheek...[1100 words]
