Thor:
(Til My Last Day)Thor has heard you sing before, because he was the one who asked you to. He loved it when you sang, even if it was from a kid movie like 'Frozen' or 'Lion King'. One day you had decided to sit out on the balcony and play your beat up Gibson guitar.
"Til my last day, til my last breath, of everyone that can I can love you the best. Til my last day, I'll be loving you. All the way up till they lay me down, six feet under the cold hard ground. Til my last day, I'll be loving you," you sang, hitting each note with ease.
"That was very good, Lady (Y/N)," you heard Thor say.
"Thank you, Thor.".
"Lady (Y/N), could you teach me to play the 'guitar'.".
"Sure.".
Xmen:
Logan:
( (Ghost) Riders In The Sky/ Daddy Sang Bass)You decided to help the younger students with their hand to hand combat training since your class had just finished. You had two younger siblings, (Y/B/N) and (Y/S/N), who would be excited to see you.
As you walked outside you decided to sing one of your favorite Johnny Cash songs.
"An old cowboy went riding out one dark and windy day, upon a ridge he rested as went along his way. When all at once a mighty herd of red eye cows he saw, a-plowing through the ragged skies and up the cloudy draw. Their brands were still on fire, their hooves were made of steel. Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel. A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky, for he saw the riders coming and heard their mournful cry," you sing, then take a deep breath as you open the gate to the field you were going to use.
"Hey, (Y/N)," Bobby, also known by Ice Man called to you.
"Hey, can't talk Bobby, got to teach a class," you call back to him.
"Alright.".
"Round house, side kick, punch, Palm strike," you call to the younger students as they hit the training dummies in front of them.
"Dodge, punch, sweep," you called after your class finished on the training dummies and started on each other.
After two hours of running through basics you told them to go on to their next class. They bowed, right hand over their hearts.
You sigh and lean against a fence post.
"Daddy sang bass, momma sang tenor. Me and little brother would join right in there. Singing seems to help a troubled soul. One of these days and it won't be long, I'll rejoin them in a song. I'm going to join the family circle at the throne," you sang as you watched the last student leave.
"Hey, Bub," you hear.
"Really, Logan, I'm busy," you growl out, letting your adamantium claws slide out from the backs of your hands.
"Just wanted to compliment you, (Y/N)," Logan says.
"On what," you scoff.
"How well you sing," he says just before walking off.
What the hell just happened?
Gambit:
(At The Beginning- From Anastasia)
You had your niece, Brandy staying with with you while your sister,
(Y/S/N), was away on a trip to the Congo valley.Brandy had always been a fan of animated movies and tonight since most of the guys and girls had left for a night on the town which left the eighty inch plasma screen TV downstairs free to use.
"(Y/N), what are we going to watch," Brandy, who's ten asks.
"Anastasia," you reply, turning the power to the DVD player and TV on.
"Sweet," Brandy, says.
As you settled yourself in an oversized beanbag chair, Brandy pressed play on the remote.
Just as the movie began you heard,"What are you doing, Mon Cherie.".
"Gambit, what do you want," Brandy hisses.
"I was going to watch the New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers game," he said nonchalantly.
"Tough luck," you mutter as the movie began.
Gambit muttered obscenities to himself as he took a seat on the couch behind you and Brandy.
Halfway through the movie it started storming and the power ended up getting knocked out.
"Ah come on," you and Brandy mutter under your breaths.
"I can't believe the powers out," you hear Gambit mutter, followed by an obscene curse word.
Brandy was a little disappointed, but she kept it to herself.
"Hey, Brandy," you say smiling.
"Huh," she asks.
"And life is a road that I wanna keep going. Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing. Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey. I'll be there when the world stops turning. I'll be there when the storm is through. In the end I wanna be standing at the beginning with you," you sing, take her hands in yours.
She sings the next piece, smiling. You smiled too, happy to know a good back up plan.
After you sang a Capella for at least thirty minutes and the power came on.
"Yes," Brandy cheered.
"No," Gambit and now you said.
"I'm glad we agree on something,
(Y/N) ," Gambit said."Yeah, I guess we do," you said grabbing your iPad from the coffee table.
Gambit grinned as you brought up the football game on the medium screen.
"Have I ever told you you're a wonderful singer," he whispered to you.
"Nope, but it's nice to hear you say it.".
