We had barely settled into our seats at the round table, when I noticed Jimin weaving through the crowd, flashing his usual easy-going smile, dressed impeccably as always.
Yoongi leaned back in his chair, giving a relaxed nod as Jimin came over.
"Jimin," Yoongi greeted, "I was wondering when you'd make your way over here."
"Couldn't resist, hyung. This table looks too serious without me," Jimin teased, pulling up a chair beside Yoongi.
Giving Yoongi a playful look.
He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table, lowering his voice like he was sharing a secret just for me.
His hand shielded his mouth as if he didn't want Yoongi to hear, but who was I kidding— He totally wanted him to catch every word.
"I hope hyung hasn't been too busy playing the 'serious adult' and boring you to death."
I tried to stifle a laugh, biting my lip, but it slipped out anyway.
I glanced at Yoongi, half expecting him to just roll his eyes and move on, but instead-
He gave Jimin a mock glare.
"Yah! Are you two ganging up on me now? I'm starting to think this table's a conspiracy."

I was a little taken aback.
Jimin's witty jabs had managed to pull Yoongi enough to reveal a side of him I rarely saw.
As the moment settled, I watched Yoongi relax in his seat, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
He seemed lost in his own thoughts for a moment.
His eyes began to wander around the room, as if searching for something—or someone.
As Yoongi's gaze continued to sweep the room, he turned back to Jimin with a slight confusion.
"Is Taehyung coming?"
Jimin shrugs, a small frown crossing his face.
"Probably not. He's been keeping to himself lately, focusing on that rehearsals and solo projects... you know how he gets when he's in the zone."
Yoongi sighs, grabbing his phone from his pocket.
He quickly typed out a text, likely sending it to Taehyung. "Figures. He's been off the radar for a while now."
