Chapter 11 ~ Last Day of Vidcon.

Next morning I woke up feeling like rubish, I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what to think. Emma said Joe may like me but im not quite sure about that, I mean he did ask me out but that doesn't mean he's into me, right? Is it? I don't even know.

I looked at Emma and she was still sleeping so I grabbed my phone and turned it on. I opened up Twitter, big mistake. Turns out last night Joe had tweeted "Feelings are feelings, don't mess with them". And a big wave of hateful tweets came to me, i don't even know why, I mean yeah maybe the tweet was indirecting me but how would people even know about what happened, why did they suppose it was because of me? I wanted to tweet something about but instead I decided I should not, I don't wanna make this a big deal of what it already is. Besides, Im not mad at Joe or anything and I really don't want people to know there is something going on between us, even if it's just a "fight".

"Wanna go grab some breakfast?" -Emma asked when she woke up and saw me looking at my phone.

"I don't know... I don't wanna bump into Joe right now" -I said, still looking at my phone.

"Hey, if you two bump into each other, then thats a great excuse to talk, dont you think?" -Emma said.

"He would probably just ignore me anyways"

"Well, what do you have to lose?"

"Fine" -I sighed.

It was 9am and the breakfast buffet of the hotel wasn't that full so it was quite calm. I went on to grab some fruit and then heard a familiar voice.

"Hey Vanessa!" 

"Oh hi Zoe -I said as I turned to look at her- how are you?"

"Im good thanks, just having breakfast" -She laughed.

"Yeah...me too" -I said while trying to look behind her.

"I figured -she laughed- are you looking for someone?"

"What? Me? No, just looking at... your ponytail, looks amazing today by the way"

"Well, thanks, but dont worry, Joe's not here and he probably won't wake up until... i dont even know"

"How do you know I was looking for Joe?"

"He told me what happened yesterday, I texted him when I saw his tweet"

"Oh great, you must hate me too then"

"I dont... I would like to hear your side of the story tho"

"Good, thanks"

"Let's go" -Zoe said while grabbing his plate and I led her to where Emma and I were sitting.

"Zoe, this is my best friend Emma, Emma, this is Zoe" -I said while sitting down.

"Oh hi Emma, nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too" -Emma said smiling, I could tell she was excited.

"Okay so tell me whats up with this Alex guy" -Zoe asked.

"Well, first of all, Its not what you think and not what Joe thinks, he is not my boyfriend"

"Oh great, I knew he wasn't! But Joe's such a brick head he doesnt understand! I told him that if he really was your boyfriend then you would have tell him in the first place, when you two met or something"

"Yeah, I would have!"

"But then, whats wrong with him?"

"I dont know, he keeps insisting on getting back together but I really dont want to"

"Then you should tell him that"

"I try, every single time he calls or texts, but its just not working, you saw what happened yesterday"

"Yeah well... try blocking his number"

"That's actually a great idea" -Emma said.

"It is... but I feel bad doing it" -I said.

"Aww sweetheart, its not like sending him to jail" -Zoe laughed.

"I know, I know -I laughed- I'll do it"

"Good, finally!" -Emma said.

"But how do I fix things with Joe anyways? That's all I care about right now"

"Dont worry, I'll talk him when he wakes up in about an hour... i think, and then i'll text you"

"Okay... do you have my number?"

"Oh no, whats your number?" -Zoe laughed.

We kept talking for about half an hour and then went into our rooms again.

"Last day of Vidcon huh?" -Emma said.

"Yup... I don't wanna leave"

"Relaaax, we're staying here one more week so we don't have to go right now"

"Yeah i know, but that week is going to be really boring without all of the youtubers"

"You mean Joe"

"No..."

*My phone then started vibrating*

"Whats that?" -Emma asked.

"Oh its just the Vidcon app, its telling me that Jaspar's (Joe&Caspar) meet up starts in 2 hours"

"Well...do you wanna go?"

"I dont know... do you think Zoe talked to him? She hasnt texted me."

"We have nothing to lose, lets goooo, get ready, c'mon, I wanna meet Caspar!!" -Emma jumped in my bed.

"Okay, okay, we'll go" -I said while getting up.

We were in line for the Jaspar's meet  up and I was extremely nervous, I dont know how to talk or how to say hi, I dont know if he's still mad at me, this sucks.

"Stop overthinking okay? Everything's going to be fine" -Emma said. "My turn now"

She went and greeted them and I could see Joe had noticed me at the front of the line. He then smiled at me and I was in complete shock, what should I do? Oh god. Yup, I smiled back and then he turned to Emma again. It was my turn now.

"Heeey Nessaaaa" - Caspar screamed. Oh Caspar.

"Hello Casp" -I said smiling.

"Hi" -Joe said with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.

"Hi..." -I said and smiled back.

"Oh c'mon you guys, don't do that here, everyone's watching" -Caspar said making things even more awkward.

"What do you mean?" -Joe asked and Caspar gave him a you know what I mean look.

The photographer hurried us and so we took our picture. I walked to the side cause my turn was over but Joe grabbed my arm before I could leave.

"Can we talk?" -He asked as I turned to look at him.

"Sure" -I said.

"Joe, we need you" -A staff woman said behind Joe.

"Yeah, sorry" -Joe said to her. "Sorry"

"Thats fine..." -I said trying not to look sad.

"But how about that lunch date we had?"

Did he really say that? Oh my god.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it"

"I was hoping you wouldn't" -He smiled. That smile kills me every time. "I'll call you when I finish" 

"Okay, see you" -I turned around and kept walking. Nothing and no one could take away my smile right now.
