Chapter 1

Vanessa's POV

I was just chillin in my room, listening to music when I decided to watch some youtube videos, i loved watching them, i was crazy about british youtubers the most, i dont know why, they had something that captured my attention, I've always thought that being with them would be so much fun, they seemed to have fun all the time and all of them were really nice and kind, basically I wanted to be one of their friends.

The saddest thing was that I lived in Dallas, Texas (USA). Technically, the other side of the world, I was far away from them and that dissapointed me quite a lot.

While scrolling my tumblr feedpage i saw an advert of a very famous youtube convention, "Vidcon". It took place in Los Angeles, California. Not that far away from Dallas but you definitely had to take a flight to arrive. I was seriously thinking about asking my mom to let me go but deep down inside i knew it wasnt worth it, she would never ever let me go there alone, by myself. Did i mention never, ever?

I told my best friend Emma about it and she was really excited, she wanted us to go too since both of us loved the youtubers that were coming.

"We definitely have to go!" - Emma said. "Are you crazy? My mom's never going to let me go" -I said. "Well, maybe if we go together she will change her mind" -She said. "You can talk to her if you want to, Im not stopping you" -I said. "Okay, I will" -Emma said and i laughed.

Not even in a million years that would happen. 

Later that day I got a text from Emma: "You better get your suitcases ready". And i replied with a "What do you mean?". Then I got another text that said "Its all set, my mom talked to yours, she told her that we had family over there and we were going to stay with them BUT we are going on a little trip okay? Not any youtube convention called Vidcon or whatever ;)". I was so happy i couldnt even reply to that last text, I even think I nearly cried, I was so excited.
