We hit over 100k words for this story in chapter 15 and I am celebrating! This is the most I have ever written for any one story.
I will say, I am expecting this one to continue for a good while yet. I have only just about set up the intro to all of the adventures *cough* smut *cough* yet to come.
That being said, in order to avoid burn out from happening, I have a little side project story that I will be working on from time to time. It's going to be for a rare-pair ship that I adore. So, if you are fans of ShinBaku, keep an eye out for "Love is Not Blind- It's Deaf."
My goal is to make a mini series for it, under ten chapters.

(Updated addition to the notes here minutes before publishing) After writing over 12k words for this chapter and realizing that I still was only maybe half way done and well past the time I wanted to publish this chapter, I decided to just chop it off after only one POV and carry on the rest of what I have been writing over into the next chapter. It is getting harder and harder to find stopping spots that I like for these chapters while still showing multiple POVs within a chapter. So, I made the call to give ya'll 8k words and just one POV for this chapter. Sorry it has been two weeks since my last chapter. On the bright side, I already have 4k+ words going into the next chapter.

Anyways, enough rambling. To celebrate the milestone, let's open up the Q&A- Ask me anything you'd like! Be it about myself, about the story, or characters!

As always, happy reading and thank you for your support remember to vote for the chapter if you enjoyed it!

(IZUKU'S POV)

It was strange, having help with basic things, like getting dressed or taking baths. Honestly, had he not needed the assistance during the worst of his heat and therefore, been more greatful and accepting, Izuku would have had a far more difficult time allowing for it.

Two weeks. Fourteen days. That was how long his heat had lasted. That was how long he had been mostly confined to the lavender room. Heats were funny things. He would have feverish dreams, wake in a pool of sweat, feeling stickiness between his legs. Then, the next morning, the fever would be gone, seemingly broken. He would think he was better, be allowed to leave the room to stretch, go sit in the garden, which he was greatful for, and sip tea. But then he would be hit with a dizzy spell or become nauseous. One time, another omegan resident of the House of the Midnight Sun, Kyoka Jiro, who Izuku had been officially introduced to on his second day staying there, had just come back from entertaining guests at a music hall. She had been carrying a stringed instrument that the greenette would later discover was called a sitar. As she had stopped to politely greet him, Izuku's face had turned red as he had smelled the scent of several alphas surrounding her. There had been several of them watching her perform. But none of the alphas had even been all that physically near her. They had been seated in a music hall in rows of chairs while she had stayed on stage. Either way, the smell hit Izuku like a brick wall. His eyes had glazed over and he'd grown very dizzy. Several servants who had been nearby to keep an eye on him had helped return him to his room where he had been very greatful to have use of the heat chest that Denki had shown him shortly after his first day at House Midnight.

The toys that Denki had instructed Izuku to use were a game changer for the omega. He was so pent up thanks to his heat, and the toys helped him find release. When using them, he began to find his mind wandering to images of a few alphas in particular. He couldn't help where his lustful thoughts took him. Images of Ejiro holding him securely in his arms, of Katsuki pinning him against a wall, and of Shoto eyeing him hungrily all over  took their turns surfacing in the omega's mind. Hell, even the dutiful image of Tenya Iida flashed before him at points. It wasn't Izuku's fault that he'd been surrounded by an army full of very attractive men! He'd been a little embarrassed finding himself thinking about them at first.
But four days into his heat, he'd woken himself from a wet dream, loudly moaning Katsuki's name. To his horror, Denki had been standing beside the bed with a tray of breakfast, having been about to wake the greenette.
"Who's Katsuki?" He'd asked, grinning cheekily.
Izuku had tried to hide himself away under the blankets, wishing for all the world that he could just sink down underground. Maybe then, he could hide from his sheer embarrassment.
But it turned out, Denki was probably the best person to help the new citizen of Aveandor learn to not feel ashamed about his roaming thoughts while in heat.
"Look," he'd explained after Izuku had confessed that he felt mortified for having such indecent thoughts about the four alphas that he admired. "Heats aren't known for giving you a clear head and sound thoughts. Trust me, I should know! I've had some weird fantasies while in heat and some were of alphas who bullied me or who had gross habits that I would never dream of actually being with in real life! From what it sounds like, all four of your fantasy boys have helped you and are fine looking. That's a recipe for wet dreams. You'll think of basically any alpha who crossed your path within the last month leading up to your heat. Anyone who did more than just walk past you anyways. Heats make you go into breeding brain, as I call it. There is no rhyme or reason. Now, if you keep having thoughts about those attractive alphas you so nicely described to me after your heat ends, then you should question why... And if you don't think of them, then do a poor, single omega a favor and send one or two of them my way, would ya?"
The blonde grinned as he begged, clasping his hands together imploringly. Denki looked so absurd and Izuku had burst into laughter, feeling much better about everything, which made his new friend happy.
