[33❣️] A dilemma of fate

Jin lead them back to the table so they can finish their tea and have conversations

"This tea's amazing Mr Jin!" Jake exclaimed as he sips his tea,holding the cup with both his hand

"Oh please you can call me hyung" Jin chucked at the boy,grinning from ear to ear delighted at the boy's praise

"So let me get this right,you're the son of Artemis,that means you're the god of Hunt and childbirth?" Jin inquired,the artemis he remembered is a girl who he quessed was more leaning toward the same sex romantic companion,but now her son is enjoying the tea he made so he was surprised to say the least

"Yes!but mom only entitled me god of hunt and moon,something about "men will never know the importance of childbirth" so she never gave me the title" he said

"I suppose that is for the better,a god's title came with the embodiment of the power they were handed down so she probably doesn't want you to carry a child or something"

The group laughed at the image of Jake giving birth to a little baby

"And you?" Jin turned toward Jungwon

"I'm the son of Zeus" Jungwon politely bowed his head a bit as he introduced himself

"Oh! Namjoon?how is he?" Jin was again pleasantly surprised

Jungwon eyes widened a bit "he's fine,i guess,i haven't seen him in a long while,he's a bit of a workaholic" he said

And suddenly Jin flinched ,a finger on his lip "shhh,he might hear"

After waiting for a thunder or lightning to hit him for a second he finally sits down "i had scold him so many times about that,he never listened does he" Jin said

"Me next,I'm Apollo's son" Jay raised his hand up in the air as if he's a little kid waiting for a praise from a teacher

But the praise never came,he was only met with a disapproving stare from Jin,as if he was a bug,he had been getting this kind of stare many times before he doesn't know why

He coughed nervously dropping his hand slowly

"Oh I'm sorry,my line just doesn't have such a good relationship with yours" Jin said

"What is your line anyway?" Jungwon asked ,but all the guys present are probably curious

"Ahh,i haven't introduced myself right?sorry for assuming Sunghoon had talk about me even at least once" he threw a nasty glare towards Sunghoon which Sunghoon professionally dodge

"I hold the title of Hestia,god of the hearth and home" Jin bowed his head which was followed the the others

"I heard my dad talking about you once before!" Heeseung exclaimed

"Wait don't tell me,let me guess" this has surprisingly turned into a game of guessing

Jin looks around he knows Sunghoon and of course Sunoo,Sunghoon has wasted so many hours just talking about him

He sees a boy with dark hair sitting quietly,assuming he isn't very good with stranger "this seemingly edgy and goth child must be the child of Hades and Persephone"

Ni-ki previous gloomy face is now replaced with something like that of a flower blooming beautiful "Yes!" He cheered

All eyes are now on Heeseung,he's now the only one left "let see,you have quite a mature air about you,if i have to guess then you are the son of the most intelligent goddess,Athena,right?"

The whole group cheered with applause,Jin guessed both of them correctly

Jin did his celebratory dance "he does look like he's full of wisdom"

But his praise was met with laughter,he sees Heeseung grinning foolishly,was his guess wrong

"You're correct,but I'm not that smart" Heeseung said

"No hyung you are smart,not all the time but you are definitely smart" Jungwon said

So his mother's wisdom made him conscious of his own,Jin thought

"Yes i can feel that you are more intelligent that you know" Jin said as he turned toward Sunoo "now i definitely know you because Sunghoon–"

Sunghoon stood abruptly,his stance awkward as he divert the attention "we need to talk about the mission" he announced

He heard Jin chuckling as he left the room,giving the room for the group so they can talk about their mission

"Hyung what is it?" Jungwon asked

"It's Medusa" Sunghoon said as Sunoo rights upright as soon as he heard her name "my Father was tasked to kill her,and believe me he will"

Sunoo doesn't know what to do anymore,if the god of war is here then they stood no chance in saving her anymore

"But–" he tried to speak but he was interrupted by Sunghoon

"But my father gave us a chance to tag along with him and depending on the situation he will make his decision"

"Then doesn't that mean there's still a chance to change his mind" Heeseung said,standing up with his hand on the table

"Yes but-" Sunghoon was hesitant to continue his words,he looked at Sunoo who was also looking up at him "what is it?" He speaks softly

"We will have to go to the mortal realm" Sunghoon said as he and Sunoo look at each other eyes

It was a silent agreement between themselves to never bring up anything related to Sunoo's past ever again

But now they are stuck with a dilemma

They need to save Medusa,but to do that they must go to the mortal realm where Sunoo was met with fate that he is still suffering from

Silence engulfed the room,it was Sunoo who spoke after a while

He made his decision,he will not fail another life now

"We'll go" he said
