Chapter: 11 In The Dark

3rd Person's POV:

After classes, So Hyun and her friends went to a cafe and chatted there for a while. They were feeling warry hearing Seokjin attended the classes today. Her friends, the bullies were contemplating whether to go after Seokjin after the incident with Namjoon, but So hyun strictly ordered them to stick with the plan.

They came out of the cafe when it was dusk. They were passing by a dark alley when they heard a whistle from there.

Assuming it was towards the girls, all of the boys got furious and went inside the alley.

So Hyun and the other girls were waiting outside smiling and laughing while there were sounds of punching, grunts and growls coming out from the alley. But after some minutes, there were no sounds. It made the girls worried.

"What's taking them so long?" one of the girls asked.

So Hyun huffs and rolls her eyes, "It's getting late, someone go and check" she orders the others. But no one moves, scared to enter the alley. So she herself goes inside.

"No wait..." the girls tried to stop her but she entered the alley.

It was so dark inside she could barely figure anything out.

"Guys?" she called out for the boys. But what came as an answer was only heavy breathing and grunts.

And before she could adjust her eyes with the darkness someone grabbed her arm and shoved her to the nearest wall.

"Ack!" she tried to scream but that person covered her face with a hand.

"Don't scream or you'll be as good as dead like them!" the person, a guy, whispers. He was tall and she could guess, well built. He had a musky scent that made So Hyun feel a chill through her bones.

"Now now little princess, you're so small and fragile, why do you go after innocent people? Don't you have fear for your life? Or did all the richness and all the privileges make you blind?" he whispers.

There were low grunts and growls coming from here and there but So hyun couldn't hear them as she was too stunned by the guy.

So Hyun was glaring at him in the darkness and tried to say something but her mouth was covered.

"Next time you go after Ji... Seokjin, you and your whole gang will end up in either hospital or graveyard. Mind it!" he growls in a low voice. So Hyun got scared and was stilled.

The guy then releases her mouth and in no time leaves the dark alley.

So Hyun releases the breath she didn't realize she was holding. And then she doesn't waste any time and runs towards the direction she came from. She doesn't even wait for the boys nor the girls that were outside.

"Hey, wait, what happened?"

"Where are you going?"

"So Hyun!"

"Hyun-ah!"

The girls shout behind her but she doesn't hear them.

She runs and runs and stops only when she reaches her house. She was so scared that she didn't realize how many miles she had run.

Ji Won and Taehyung were sitting on the sofa in the living room when So Hyun barges in panting.

"What happened Hyun-ah?" Ji Won asks, getting up and hurrying towards So Hyun.

"Why do you look like you've encountered a vicious creature?" Taehyyng says nonchalantly. Meanwhile Yoongi comes down from upstairs to them.

"Because something like that actually happened." So Hyun says after catching her breath.

"Have some water" Ji Won takes So Hyun to the sofa and brings water to her.

"You're the one everyone is scared of in the uni so what the hell happened that shook you up so much?" Yoonig says and So Hyung glares at him. Taehyung chuckles and Ji Won rubs So Hyun's back.

Then So Hyun tells them what happened in the alley that made everyone frown.

"Was he a human or any other creature?" Yoongi inquires.

"I don't know, it happened so suddenly I couldn't figure out any other thing."

"You even left your friends there hahahah. You're such a weak Hyun-ah." Taehyung laughs at her.

"Tae-Tae!" Both Ji Won and So Hyun glare at him.

"Stop bickering, it is a serious issue, no human would dare to threaten us if they already know who we are. And after hearing and seeing So Hyun, it also doesn't look like it was any creature or it would have put a trace on her to make a statement."

"But whoever it was, he's working for Seokjin. He doesn't want Seokjin to get hurt." Ji Won says and everyone looks at her.

"That mere human! I hate him! First he went after Tae Tae, and now he sends some weird guy after me, The Kim So Hyun! He really has the audacity, I'm gonna k!ll him!"

"Calm down Hyunie." Taehyung says.

"We'll protect you sweetie. Don't worry" Ji Won pacifies her.

"And from now on, stop with all that bullying shit, tell your friends too. We don't know that Seokjin's full identity till now. And the fact that someone actually dared to mess with us tells a lot about him. Let's not take that guy's warning lightly." Yoongi scolds her.

"Okey" So Hyun looks down.

Time skip...

It was midnight, the whole dorm was dark and quiet. Seokjin was sleeping alone in his room. Since Jungkook was out with his friends he ate his dinner and went to sleep early after studying. He was very tired and deep in his sleep that he couldn't know that someone, a guy, came into the dark room.

That guy came close to him and patted his head lovingly. His eyes were full of adoration and worries that couldn't be seen in the darkness of the room.

"I'll protect you Jinnie. No one will hurt you. Let's wait for the right time and we'll be happy and at peace." He whispers to himself.

Suddenly that person's phone buzzes. He quickly gets away from Seokjin so that he doesn't wake up by the sound and picks up the call.

"Did you do the work?" someone from the other side of the phone asks.

"Yes." the guy says nonchalantly.

"Good." the other guy was smirking.

"Jinnie might wake up. I've to go now"

"Okay I'm hanging up then"

"Ummh"

The guy puts his phone down and looks towards Seokjin's direction. Even in the dark he could guess that Seokjin wasn't sleeping but was having nightmares. He was sad because he could not do anything about that.

"I promise you Seokjin I'll take good care of you from now on. I'll take care of us as I've promised before." he says with determination.

He has a great plan for the coming future. And he'll make sure that nobody's gonna stop him to reach his goal.
