Chapter 3: Secrets

Seokjin's POV:

It was evening when we returned to the dorm. Hoseok hyung entered the room and was in awe.

"Woah! It's my first time in a dorm!" how can someone be so excited seeing a dorm room. He's really something. Hyung wasn't there. Maybe he's looking for part time jobs. I took out my phone and saw it was off. 'Shoot!' I quickly put it on charge. Hope hyung didn't call meanwhile which is just impossible. But what's done is done.

I went to the kitchen and saw hyung had bought some groceries and stocked them. So I made some snacks. Then we chatted for a while. Hyung came at 8.

"Nini, where were you all day? I was so worried?" Hyung sayes hugging me tightly.

"But I gave you a message that I'm with Hoseok hyung," I said, pouting.

"Still, it's a new place. And I called you so many times. What happened to your phone? Hyung got so scared and went out searching for you" hyung said, almost crying. What? He went to search for me? I thought he went job hunting. Oh wait, that's very normal for him actually.

"Ummm hello there John, I was with him all day. We're good friends now so I'm gonna be with him from now on. So please don't worry about him, okay?" Hoseok hyung says smiling.

"It's Jungkook. And... thanks I guess." hyung says looking down. I feel really bad. It's our first day here and I made hyung worried. Hoseok hyung bids us goodbye and leaves.

"Nini, what you did today made me upset. Please never ever do that." hyung said at night when we were laying down in our beds.

"Mianhae hyungie. You know I never do such irresponsible things. My phone died. And..." I couldn't tell hyung about the weird feeling I was having since yesterday. It occupied my mind which made me forgetful. But right now, I have to keep it as a secret.

"And what? Did that Hoseok do something? Please don't hang out with that boy. I think he has some secrets. He seems like a part of mafias or gangsters." hyung said.

A what now? I laughed out loud. Where does he get these out of the world ideas?

"Oh Kookie hyung, you're so funny. Hoseok hyung can never be a mafia" I said laughing.

"He's nice, trust me. And he comes from a decent and wealthy family. So he doesn't need to be a gangster or a mafia. Hahaha. I also got to know about this area from him today. So... can I hang out with him from now on?"

"If you say so. But still, be cautious okay?" Hyung said. I could feel hyung frowning.

"Don't worry hyungie. Goodnight" i said yawning

"Yeah goodnight. Don't let the bedbugs bite my smol beanie" hyung sang out.

"Ugh hyungggg!!!!"

And the first day at Daegu University ended with excitement but also with the creepy feeling. But I wont tell Hyung nor Hobi Hyung about that creepy feeling. Right now, I'll keep it a secret.

Jungkook's POV:

Now that finally we're in Daegu, I can't sleep. This is what I've been wanting for seven years, to come to Daegu. Luckily I managed to gather enough savings to come here and get admission in this Uni. And soon I'll achieve my goal too.

I'm just worried about my little brother. I know he deserves to know about the main reason of coming here. But I want him to know when everything is sorted out. Right now he should focus on studies. If he learns the truth, he might get anxious and slack in his studies. And I don't want that for my smol bean. Hoping I'll find them soon so I'm keeping the secret from him.
