I was in klauses room hanging out with him when five came in. "Darling, I'm going out for a while, and make sure you don't stay up waiting for me ok? You need sleep." Five informed me. "Ok, I will, I love you." I replied. "Love you too." Said five. I shot up and stopped him. "Woah woah woah, I repeated "I love you."." I said. "Yeah, I said "love you too."." He repeated. My jaw dropped. "Five hargreeves, I love you." I said. Five laughed. "Love you too." I was baffled. "Oh my god, you've officially gone insane." I said. Klaus was laughing at the little banter that was taking place in his room. "How have I gone insane I said "love you too."." He said. "Five, theres a big difference between "I love you." And just "love you."."
Five was laughing at how I was affected by this. I crossed my arms and looked him dead in the eye. "I don't find you funny." I said. "I'm sorry love, but I don't see what the problem is." He said. "Did I do something wrong for you to switch from "I love you too." to "love you too."?" I asked. "No kitten, you didn't do anything wrong." He replied. "Then why are you saying "love you." Instead of "I love you."?" I asked. "Honey, I'm messing with you." He confessed. I crossed my arms and walked off to my room.
Fives pov
"Fucking idiot." I heard klaus say. "Excuse me?" I asked. "You're a fucking idiot, you need to make things up with my bestie." He demanded. "I will, I need to do something first." I said. I blinked downstairs and walked out of the academy.
*Time skip*
I came home later in the day with flowers and y/n's favorite chocolates just to find her asleep in our room. I smiled a bit and set both the flowers and the chocolate on her nightstand, and spooned her in my arms. I held her close nuzzling into her neck. "I love you so much y/n, you're my everything." I whispered. "I love you too." I heard her mumble. I smiled and kissed her cheek. She flipped over and snuggled up to my chest. I smiled and held her closer.

We slept rest of the day all the way up to the next morning. My eyes fluttered open to see y/n still snuggled up with me. I smiled and kissed her forehead, playing with her hair. She was awake but kept her eyes closed. "Thank you for the flowers baby." She mumbled. "Your welcome kitten. I'm sorry I made you upset yesterday." I whispered. "It's ok, I love you." She mumbled again. "I love you more." I whispered. Y/n smiled and snuggled closer. "Do you wanna just stay in bed all day?" I asked. She nodded slowly. Y/n's so adorable. I love her so much.
