The stubborn girl had to run. I leave her alone for one moment and the next thing I know Felix and Jaime are is disturbing me to tell me that she ran away. "Well, go find her then." I try to keep my voice calm ,but it was hard to not sound annoyed. They run out of the room, knowing the consequences for not listening to me.

I sigh as I sit on a railing looking over the branches, I heard Felix yelling at the boys to go and find Skylar and I had to admit, I was proud of my second in command.

Skylar

I ran as fast as I could, over tree roots and ducking under low hanging branches, but I heard yelling and shouting, followed by footsteps. Even when I ran it felt like they were only getting closer.

I pushed through my soreness that already started to tire my legs and climb a decently tall tree. I see boys running under the tree, not even bothering to look up. I grin at their
total idiocy for not thinking that I might've gone up a tree.

When I could no longer here the boys, I got out of the tree and ran what I assumed to be west for what felt like hours. I guess that happens in a place where time stands still.

As my exhaustion, leg pain, and overall tiredness continues to increase, I see what looks like a small tree house. "Thank god." I breath to myself and use what little energy I have left to climb up the houses's ladder.

As I enter it I notice a hammock, a few shelves with assorted books, and a small table with a couple cups and utensils. "Hello?" I ask to make sure I wasn't intruding, but the only reply I got was an arrow to my neck and a girl whispering, "who the hell are you?" in my ear.
