"...At Least I Don't Have Anger Issues."

I take a moment to give myself a reality check. Chrissy told me about this place, but how am I supposed to trust her? She has probably lied to me all this time. Pan interupts my thoughts, "Excuse me? Are you done having a mental conversation with yourself, because I would like to talk to" I cut him off. "Was she real? Was Chris real?" I had to know. "She was. I offered her simple payment for her to bring you to the tree. Did you know her mother had cancer?" I hadn't known. I'm mad, yet I would do the same for my mom.

"So if you are done with your self recollection, may I have a conversation with you?" "Will you ever shut up?" He grins and leans on the porch railing, "Most likely not, but anyway I would like to discuss your abilities." I laugh. I don't think I would ever get used to hearing that. He shoots me a look telling me to be quiet and I calm down. I clear my throat before I speak. "What about them?"

"So as I said a while ago, you have unfathomable, strong gifts within you that, when developed, will most likely be more powerful than mine." "Ok wait a minute. If my "gifts" are stronger than yours that means I can fly right?" I slowly back away from the railing and towards the door. "Yes, but it will take prac-. Skylar, don't." He comes towards me, "Doing it!" I yell as I sprint and jump over the railing.

I prepare for death as I suffer major dejavu, but I am caught. When I feel solid ground beneath my feet I turn and yell at Pan, "Damn you!" "Oh that's the thank you I get for saving your life," he yells back, "You are to important to just die!" The son of a bitch just wouldn't give up. "I didn't ask to be saved and to have to be stuck in this hell hole! " I see him grow angry, yet continue anyways, "If I am supposed to stay here I expect to be treated with respect!"

That one comment set him off, "Skylar there are a few things you should know," his tone was forceful, "You do not own this island, I do. I am king and if you want don't learn to except that, then you are sincerely screwed. If any respect should be shown, you should be showing it to me." I always had a hard time keeping my mouth shut, "I am not your property Pan! If I were you I would learn to back off." He shoves me into the wall. He was breathing down on my face and sending chills through me, "If I were you, I would learn to control that pride of yours." He then backs away and storms off. "Well, at least I don't have anger issues." I whisper after I know he is gone, and start to explore.

I walked down the hallway I came from and took a few right and left turns before coming to a door. I pull it open slowly given its weight. It opened up into a kitchen and then an open room with a beautiful grand piano in the corner. I resist the temptation to play it and run past it to the door on the other side of the room. I open it and sigh in relief when I feel the warm spring breeze on my face.

Without a second thought, I ran.

Feel free to hate me for not updating. I deserve it, but don't hate me to much :)
