AN: timeline wise Deathly Hallows finished roughly May 1998. This is pushed up by 7 years to be May 2005.

Events that happen in the first bit of chapter 1 and last tiny bit of chapter 2 take place June 2005.

Chapter 3 will cover Aliens of London/WW3 so around March 2006.

Several months later...

"I really hate that bitch", 18 year old groused, sinking down on the front steps of number 12 Grimmauld Place. She'd been helping Harry organise and pack up some of their godfather's house or at least...she was trying to. Very hard to concentrate when a certain mouthy portrait constantly screams at you.

Unfortunately, short of removing the entire wall there was no way to take the picture down. There did use to be some enchanted curtains that hung in front which would give everyone a break from Walburga Black's shrill voice but Kreacher appeared to have removed them during their absence and refused to say where they were. In fact, she couldn't remember the last time she'd seen that blasted House Elf. If only Dobby were still around...

The ginger pinched the bridge of her nose when she felt the familiar burn of tears. Nope! That was not happening today! She'd had enough crying to last a lifetime or more. The witch's head snapped up when she heard a car screech to a halt in front of her. She got to her feet as two men got out of the vehicle, both wearing suits.

The witch didn't move to greet them though, figuring they weren't here for her. "M-Miss Snape?" one of them called, sounding like he wasn't too sure that was her name. Still she didn't move even as the two looked directly at her. There was no way they could see her for she was within the confines of the Fidelius Charm.

"You sure this is the right place?" Man Two questioned. His partner studied a piece of paper in his hands.

"Number 12 Grimmauld Place", he reads, causing Ivy to pull her wand out from her hair, ready to use it if needs be.

"Whoever gave you that sent us on a wild goose chase", Man Two scoffed "there is no number 12 Sean! You got 11 and you've got 13. For whatever reason, number 12 was missed".

"I'm telling you Dave, it's here", Sean insisted "She has never steered me wrong".

'She?' Ivy mouthed, leaning forward as she was somewhat intrigued. Plus she wanted to learn as much as possible before she made as decision as whether or not to reveal herself to Sean and Dave.

Dave laughed "Of course, if your little girlfriend gives you the info then it must be correct".

"She's not my girlfriend", Sean shot back "just a friend who's knows stuff, including the location of number 12".

Ok I've heard enough Ivy thought, standing up. She smoothly apparated from the top step of her Godfather's house, reappearing across the road. "Looking for me?" she called, casually leaning against the railings of the park fence.

"M-Miss Snape?" Sean repeats, still sounding not sure that is her name.

"Maybe", Ivy answered, vaguely "Depends. Are you nosy muggles or are you really lousy Death Eaters?" the two men opened their mouths "and don't lie to me because I'm not in the mood". The ginger twirled her wand in her fingers as she spoke to show them she meant business.

"We're two muggles", Sean hastily responded.

"Sean!" Dave scolded.

"What? Its not like we could win against her", Sean defended "besides, we're not going to get Miss Snape's help by making the kid our enemy".
