I take a breath and walk onto the stage after changing into my New Money outfit I prepare myself for the next song. It's either make or break.
"When your money makes you money" the opening lines to New Money begin.
During the dance break I felt like the world was spinning but my adrenaline was on 100 and I pushed through the best as I could.
"We ride, We ride, We ride! Yeah-Yeah-Yeah-ah" music ends
I walk off the stage and the last thing I remember was hitting the ground
Noah POV :
I see Sam pass out in the sidelines and I try my best to not run across the stage and get her.
* Attention there is a emergency being carried out backstage the show will pause for a moment please remain where you are the show will resume shortly*
That was my cue I ran to where Sam was, Jeremy right behind me. We picked her up and brought her away from all the moving furniture.
Dariana was rushed into costume as she has to go on mid show for Sam
I had no care for anyone else. I stayed by her side till the paramedics came. Those minutes felt like hours spent looking at Sam trying to get her awake.
"Sam. Hey it's me Noah. I got you, you'll be okay just stay with me" I whispered despite having to go on stage the minute they took her away
I watched as the paramedics carefully took Sam to the hospital. I was quickly reminded it's time for me to refocus and get through this show.
Sam Pov:
I woke up in the ambulance. My brain felt so scrambled. My last recollection was on stage performing New Money before it all went blurry.
" Ma'am do you know where you are right now?" A paramedic asks
"I do. I'm in an ambulance but I don't remember getting here" I say confused
"You passed out backstage and a staff memeber called 911" The paramedic said
I just laid there in confusion wondering
* An couple hours later *
I've been sitting in this hospital bed for a while now. My sister went to Indiana and couldn't keep me company besides the endless texts and FaceTime's from her and my parents.
"Knock Knock" a familiar voice says
I look and it's Noah and Eva. The 2 people who I am most glad to see right now.
"How are you my darling" Eva says as they walk over to my side
"I'm doing fine, I still don't know what happened after I finished New Money" I say while smiling a bit
"I was so scared. I ran out my dressing room after I heard the announcement and when I saw all those people surrounding you on the floor I literally started crying. Had to redo my makeup and all" eva said smiling at me
"Wow. I don't even remember that" I say
"You were unconscious most the time so I don't blame you. Regardless Noah never left you he sat by you and held you're hand the whole time" Eva says looking at Noah
Noah had a look of regret and worry on his face. Eva could tell and excused herself with a fake phone call from her boyfriend Reeve.
Sam looks at Noah and takes his hand.
"What's wrong Noah?" I say worried
"I don't know. I just felt very scared, the way your body went pale and you weren't waking up I feared the worst." he says trying not to choke up
"Noah." I say trying not to cry myself
" Meeting you has been so impactful on my life. I've only known you for a couple months but it feels like you've been my bestfriend for years." he says as a tear rolls down his face
I start to cry as well. I haven't realized how close i've gotten with Noah. I really have only known him for a couple months but he feels like a childhood friend.
Eva walks back into the room seeing us both crying .
"Damn what did I miss" Eva says trying to lighten the mood
We both laugh at her corny joke .
"Well are you gonna be okay my dear?" Eva says as she sitting by my bedside
"I will eventually recover but my doctor says it's lack of energy and i've had pneumonia for about 3 months now" I tell them
"Woah. So how long will you be here" Noah asks worriedly
"Probably just for the night but I will be out of the show for at least a week for recovery for my pneumonia." I say to them a little tired
" Take all the time you need love. We will be waiting for you when you get back" Eva says as she looks at me with the most loving eyes
Nurse comes in and tells them that visiting hours are over. After some hugs and mini conversations they left and I was alone in my quiet, dark, hospital room.
